As popular as marriage is, it is amazing that some people make it all the way to the altar without knowing or even loving the other person. But what if that other person is Christ? The Church is engaged to marry Jesus Christ but that can not ever happen under the wrong pretenses. Can we become the wife that Christ wants? We Know to understand Him and love His ways as much as He loves us. We need to ask ourselves what kind of fiance are we and can we increase our love for Christ...especially in this world’s climate of Laodicean indifference?

Braden Veller has been an ordained elder for over 40 years, working with people in many parts of the country. His formal education includes degrees from the University of Vermont and Ambassador College and he also has certifications in integrative health care as it relates to addictions, issues of emotion, and recovery. Although he resides in Florida, he has lived in New England, California, and Atlanta. He is married with one son. With knowledge of Spanish, he and his wife Georgia also have been able to serve the church in multiple countries in Latin America.
