The Feast of Trumpets pictures many things, from the 1st Resurrection to the Day of the Lord and the establishment of His kingdom. We can get a glimpse of what will be by looking back at what has happened before. As God created a chosen people and brought them out of darkness and bondage to a new Kingdom in His first covenant, He is doing so again with the firstfruits of His second covenant. What God has done before, He will do again.
