The trumpets of Revelation picture God’s dramatic intervention to bring an end to mankind’s failed attempt to rule apart from Him and establish the Kingdom of God. While those trumpets will sound like judgment to a rebellious world, to those who faithfully endure and wait for Christ, the final trumpet will be the long-awaited sound of hope, deliverance, resurrection, and the return of Jesus Christ.
