One of the two greatest holidays for Christianity is Christmas. It heavily dominates Christian keeping with most believing this is when Jesus was born. There are actually many theories as to when Christ was born. One of the first estimates recorded in history was in 258 A.D. when a Biship speculated March 25th and became the defacto date. That is until the 500's A.D. when the Pope introduced the Pagan celebration of Saturnalia to Christians in hopes of attracting both Christians and Pagans under his reign. This resulted in the relabeled holiday of Christmas kept on December 25th. However, this day is not even implied within scripture. Randy Stiver covers what scripture actually implies of when this event most likely would have taken place.
