The book of Revelation is written to those committed to God, who are called and chosen by Him. They are the future Bride of Christ. And to this future Bride, Jesus Christ describes various characteristics of His nature, role, and abilities. He opens each of the seven letters in Revelation 2-3 with a This is Who I Am statement.
