Death is a fact of life and all of us at some time will have to deal with the loss of a close loved one. We are to be like Christ and he has been described as a comforter. Do you know how to comfort someone and when a friend needs you for comforting? Will you be there?

Joe Greene

Joe has been a member of God’s Church since 1984.  He and his wife Brenda have spent their careers working with persons with disabilities of all ages.  Joe holds a Masters Degree in Education. Together, Joe and Brenda have been able to serve God’s people in Illinois, Wisconsin and now in Virginia.  Joe was ordained a local elder in April of 2011 and was hired by the United Church of God in 2023 to pastor the Richmond and Roanoke congregations in Virginia, along with serving as the Human Resource Manager for the Church.
