Willing Oneness

INTRO: To constantly CHOOSE to give life for God’s “Very Good” Creation – AS God does IS “Willing Oneness” with God.

“Willing Oneness” is achieved with God as He allows us existence and loves deeply His human Creations as images of Him.

He allows us to choose to recognize Him as superior in all things as our Creator, Sustainer, Savior, and Designer of Life for All. This choosing on our part enables God’s response …an entrance into a Kingdom Standard of Living. …BY allowing us to SEE our lowly state compared to His LIFE.

BENEFIT STATEMENT: Such Willing Oneness is achieved through an Eternal Focus granted from and OF God.

God Who started us, sustained us while learning to Life as He does it, and forgave our corruption of His Creation by paying for our corruption and making us NEW Creations in a NEW Life after our “dying” from our previous corrupted life beside the One through Whom all things were made.

(1Jn 4.9-11 Not that we loved Him, but that He loved US …/ God STARTED our life …SO, He is FIRST with ALL the Process)

SPS: Let’s let God show us HOW we join with Him and Christ willingly in “Willing Oneness”

BODY: Christ sacrificed Himself for ALL. Is this a clue to what is OUR Design for Eternity?

1. Christ Sacrificed Himself for ALL. And we are included THROUGH Him in God-Life!

Genesis 1:26 (NKJV) 26  Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

Genesis 2:7 (NKJV) 7  And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Job 31:14-15 (NKJV) 14  What then shall I do when God rises up? When He punishes, how shall I answer Him? 15  Did not He who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same One fashion us in the womb?

Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV) 13  For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. 14  I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.

Humanity was created by the One Who became Christ, through Christ FOR Christ. Through Him human life began in God’s Image. God says so …

Luke 3:23 (NKJV) 23  Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,

Luke 3:38 (NKJV) 38  the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Colossians 1:16-18 (NKJV) 16  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18  And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. – All FOR Him …but there is another group that is closer to God and held for that Purpose which will apply to all in their time.

Because God allowed human life for the purpose of choosing His Way and Him as priority over all our concerns and all our life …so He may reproduce  Himself as He will multiply His Good Creation …which is the Way of self-sacrifice for ALL “Good” through those who choose God-Spirit-LIFE-sharing …we may be enabled by God to enter His Kingdom Level Standard of Life. We may only do this through accepting God as superior in all things (which is obvious) and joining with His Approach to ALL …as ONE. Therefore, HE becomes priority in all things, including EVERY thought, body, emotion, work, work, place, time, ALL!

GOD Creates, enables, WE choose …

(Deuteronomy 30:19 (NKJV) 19  … I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, …)

We are tried over our lifetime inside God’s Body to learn how the way of Satan is not able to sustain or advance the Creation, but God’s Way must be priority for His Creations to participate in their Design.

GOD starts the Relationship, and thus enables those He Designed, Created and Sustained (while they were in sin) to choose HIS Way as their new Priorities in Life. [Total self-sacrifice which is reasonable].

John 6:44-51 (NKJV) 44  No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45  It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught by God.' Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. 46  Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. 47  Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. 48  I am the bread of life. 49  Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50  This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51  I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

1.  WHAT Does Christ willingly DO with the Children of God FOR God? Empower Choice of LIFE!

(Genesis 6:8 (NKJV) 8  But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.) [Grace booklet – pg 7: “grace” here is hen or chen (khane), “favor, grace, acceptance, unmerited favor or regard in God’s sight …conveying a sense of acceptance or preference with some special standing with God or His People. Chen comes from the verb chanan, “to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior”.]

2 Corinthians 5:14-17 (NKJV) 14  For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15  and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. 16  Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. 17  Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

1 Corinthians 8:5-6 (NKJV) 5  For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), 6  yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live.

2 Corinthians 4:14-15 (NKJV) 14  knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. 15  For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NKJV) 14  For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-- 19  to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21  to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. It is NOT only about not sinning …it IS even MORE about multiplying VERY GOOD Creation so that God’s Designed Purpose in us is to willingly become One with Him.

LIFE will BE Good again as at Genesis Creation …that is why even the corrupted creation still exists now …to learn how to accomplish GOOD as God does it …including multiplying GOOD Life by exampling God to the rest of HIS Creation!

2 Corinthians 2:14-16 (NKJV) 14  Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15  For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16  To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?

This was planned and set in motion by the God Family of the Logos and the other Eternal One (Who was revealed by Christ 2000 year ago). The Logos would lower Himself to become one of us with us and be like us in the flesh, but perfect in Spirit …SO we may become ONE with the God-Family!

Matthew 1:19-23 (NKJV) 19  Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20  But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21  And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." 22  So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying: 23  "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."

Messiah …the King, the High Priest …all to signify and make clear to US that we are removed from our corruption …to be WITH Him and He WITH us …to be ONE.

1. How We are to Become One with God’s Self-Sacrificing Nature?  ONENESS OF God With Christ

Romans 11:33-36 (NKJV) 33  Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! 34  "For who has known the mind of the LORD? Or who has become His counselor?" 35  "Or who has first given to Him And it shall be repaid to him?" 36  For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Romans 12:1-5 (NKJV) 1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 3  For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4  For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5  so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Works of reverence do not necessarily recognize the great “self” as impotent and temporary.

Job 2:3 (NKJV) 3  Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless [undefiled] and upright [straight, just, righteous] man, one who fears [reveres] God and shuns evil? And still he holds fast to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to destroy him without cause."

(((Ezekiel 14:14 (NKJV) 14  Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness," says the Lord GOD.

Job 42:1-6 (NKJV) 1  Then Job answered the LORD and said: 2  "I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. 3  You asked, 'Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4  Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, 'I will question you, and you shall answer Me.' 5  "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. 6  Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."

[Job was enabled through the Grace to trust God over himself which is Faith in and FROM God – righteousness]

We …the chosen and choosing Ones …responding in TOTAL agreement to Christ and Our Father, are shown HOW to Celebrate this NEW Life! We are to no longer protect or elevate THIS flesh as priority, an THEN choose to give up our very existence for all the ones yet to become God’s Children by us imitating God as He examples Himself in Christ. You would think God would make that clear, and maybe even repeat it …

Matthew 10:38-39 (NKJV) 38  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39  He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

(((Mark 8:34-38 (NKJV) 34  When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. 36  For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37  Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 38  For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels."

Luke 9:21-26 (NKJV) 21  And He strictly warned and commanded them to tell this to no one, 22  saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day." 23  Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. 25  For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 26  For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father's, and of the holy angels.

Humans are allowed to be self-interested above even our own Creator. They do not naturally submit to each other or God in Godly Unity. God would have us GIVE ourselves as HE does for ALL. To be ONE with God, we must therefore, become NEW. Not partially, in knowledge or action, but TOTALLY new, completely OF God …with NOTHING primarily for self, even self-protection or self-will. To see God Love us …and see His Love change us to NEW, is to Love what HE does in ALL His Creation, and therefore it is possible to love our neighbor as the “self” of GOD Who loves our neighbor while they are yet sinners for their Designed Purpose with Him! (Not rejecting God’s Planned Creation in sinning Potential ONES, but not join them in sin).

Willing Oneness is with Christ in active Trust of the Hope given by God in Love of His Design for ALL.

2 Corinthians 6:16-18 (NKJV) 16  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people." 17  Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you." 18  "I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the LORD Almighty."

NIV Hebrews 11:13 – "All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country-- a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them."

CONCLUSION:      NKJ Colossians 3:2 – "Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth."
