Acts 2:37, Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles "Men and brethren what shall we do?" One with conscience can be appealed to but one without cannot. Conscience can be tricked, it must be educated. Conscience becomes a kind of reservoir for the truth. This is why we must study God's word! The value is without measure. `

The saying if it isn't broke don't fix it works great in the physical realm, not so much in the realm of relationships and roles dealing with humans. This is because all are broken in some way. We want to add to healing, so if it isn't fixed don't break it. Lift up the hands that hang down. Share the burden vs. don't climb up on that load. We want God to see us as a healer not a breaker.

The Book of Hebrews warns God's people of the danger of drifting away from God's calling. Very few willfully and knowingly choose to reject God. Many run the risk of neglecting their calling to the point of slowly floating away. In working out their own salvation Christians face the challenges of time, familiarity with God's truth, the negative pulls of society and the struggle with carnal nature.

Every person will face numerous occasions of great loss. This sermon discusses common stages each of us travels as we struggle to heal from grief. Several points are offered that can help facilitate our healing from grief. Through the process we learn to be able to better help those who experience similar losses.

We are down to the final weeks before observing God's fall festivals. This is the time to make sure you are prepared for another great Feast. We all experience conflict in our lives at one time or the other. How we deal with conflict is extremely important. Human reasoning, arguing and complaining only lead to more problems. As Christians, we must look to God when dealing with conflict.

"Eat your big frogs first" is a business saying that means you should get the most important, difficult things taken care of first. This isn't just something to apply to the business world, we have to get the important things in our lives taken care of first. If we don't prioritize our relationships with God and our families far above the less important things, we will never find time for them.

What is the heart of God? God is pure with perfect character. As well, we must strive to have His perfect character in our hearts. Appearance doesn't matter if our hearts are wrong. Like King David, we will fail at times but we must never stop striving to do God's will and become people after God's own heart.

Have you ever been let down, frustrated or become disillusioned with someone you looked up to? When we look to people rather than God, we can and usually will be let down. This disappointment can lead to becoming disillusioned with God's way, causing us to make excuses for lowering our standards. We can not let the mistakes of others cause us to justify our own mistakes. God never fails and His example must be the one we follow.

From the beginning, human nature has caused people to blame others rather than take responsibility for their own lives. God has given us clear instructions on how we should live, leaving us no excuse for not following him. As Christians, we must take the responsibility of living godly lives.

There are many things in life that we can have hope for without any guarantee of that hope coming true. The Feast of Tabernacles represents the Kingdom of God, which we should be constantly hoping for. While we may be let down by physical hopes, Jesus Christ will return and fulfill our hope of His kingdom. Any challenge we face can be overcome when we are filled with godly hope.

John the Baptist and Jesus Christ preached repentance. What could hinder our true repentance?

In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus began by giving The Beatitudes. One of these Beatitudes, or Christian character traits, is purity. Purity is a very important trait to God and one we must all work towards with His help.

God's truth does not change with time. As well, the Bible is full of powerful lessons that are as applicable today as they were thousands of years ago. The life of King Josiah holds many examples of what happens when God is followed and when He is forgotten.

Jerusalem is the most contested city in the world. Jews, Muslims and Christians all regard this city as a very holy place. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a focal point of tension between these groups. This site has been a central place in God's plan for thousands of years and is still important both now and in the future.

Physical fog can block our vision, causing problems, accidents, even death. Spiritually speaking, fog can be a metaphor for anything that blocks our vision of God's way, which is much more serious. We must do everything we can to avoid entering a spiritual fog. If we ever find ourselves in a spiritual fog, we must immediately turn around and get out with God's help.
