2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Glacier Country, Montana
The Glacier Bible Camp hosted the Feast of Tabernacles for 364 brethren in beautiful Hungry Horse, Montana.
Just outside Glacier National Park, in the little town of Hungry Horse, the Glacier Bible Camp hosted the Feast of Tabernacles for 364 brethren. A unique feature of this Feast site was how varied the housing options were; some brethren stayed on the adjacent campsite, others rented cabins a short walk from services and yet others stayed in hotels and Airbnbs. Many shared meals in the dining hall onsite, extending the fellowship into mealtime and beyond! Western wear was encouraged at this Feast site.
The Feast featured special meet-and-greets for elders, seniors, young adults and teens, and Bible lessons were held for the children.
A highlight of the Feast was Glacier Day. To accommodate the drive to Glacier National Park, services were held early on Thursday, then people were free to drive into the park by way of Going-to-the-Sun Road, which had just reopened. The timing couldn’t have been better, as the sun was shining, yet snow still adorned the tops of the mountains, creating a breathtaking scene. Many people hiked up to the Hidden Lake Overview, or down to the lake itself and back again—a challenging climb!
Due to forecasted cold days ahead, family day was moved up to Friday. Brethren of all ages enjoyed a huge maze, miniature golf, go-carts, and bankshot basketball at the Amazing Fun Center. In the evening, a Bible study by Kevin Kenady led into the Sabbath. The family fun and fellowship extended into the next day, with Bible studies for all ages on Sabbath morning, and a bowling party on Saturday night in nearby Whitefish.
On Monday evening, brethren gathered for a hymn sing to welcome in the Eighth Day. The Holy Days concluded with a final message from coordinator, Dan Deininger. Brethren felt truly blessed as they returned home with phones full of mountain photos, hearts full of memories, and a hope-filled reminder of the Kingdom to come!
