2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Licán-Ray, Chile
Brethren from Chile and Argentina met for the Feast of Tabernacles in the beautiful town of Licán-Ray, along the shores of Lake Calafquen.
The Feast of Tabernacles was again held in Licán Ray, close to two southern Argentinian congregations (Bahia Blanca and Neuquen). We held the Feast at the El Conquistador Vacation Center, which provided us with comfortable cabins as our temporary homes. This place has green areas, a meeting hall where we held services, and other rooms for activities. We had a maximum attendance of 116 people.
Licán Ray is a beautiful city with a variety of attractions that the brethren were able to enjoy. Among the most notable activities was a visit to the nearby hot springs heated from the Villarrica volcano. We also took a catamaran trip along the shores of Lake Calafquén, providing breathtaking scenes.
The first activity was the children’s party. Together with their parents, children spent moments of fun and ate delicious food. This was followed by the seniors’ activity, where they shared entertaining games, songs, fine conversations and delicious food. The youth activity allowed participants to strengthen the bonds of friendships and share an entertaining Friday afternoon. On Saturday night, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue, live music and a nice family dance. On Monday, the ladies had an afternoon tea, sharing delicious food, good conversations, activities and gifts.
There were services every day of the Feast of Tabernacles and two services for the Eighth Day. We had a Bible study by Omar Morales, a member of the Santiago congregation, and a second Bible study later in the week by Marcelo Saavedra, pastor from Chile. Without a doubt, this Feast, where we received so much spiritual nourishment, strengthened us to continue preparing for that wonderful promise of being future kings and priests in God’s Kingdom.
