2025 Feast of Tabernacles: Titisee, Germany
Over 180 attendees enjoyed plenty of opportunities to fellowship and grow together in God’s Word during the Feast of Tabernacles in Titisee, Germany.
Brethren from Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria joyfully celebrated this year’s Feast of Tabernacles along with several international visitors in the beautiful Black Forest town of Titisee.
Opportunities for fellowship and growth together were enjoyed by the 182 attendees. Early in the Feast was the annual mystery dinner, which allowed for people of all ages, nationalities and languages to eat together in each other’s temporary dwellings and build bonds that lasted the entire Feast.
Local and international brethren provided an array of musical talent which added to our hymn singing and contributed to uplifting special music—not to mention some impressive performances at this year’s karaoke evening!
Other fellowship opportunities were the games and dance evening, Bible discussions, a seniors’ meeting, men’s meeting and the women’s discussion about Esther. For some adventure the youth spent an afternoon of water slides and swimming at the local water park. Additionally, those 16 and older could relax in a “palm tree oasis” of mineral baths and a steam sauna. The bus tour this year was a trip to Schaffhausen in Switzerland, a beautiful historic town in the vicinity of impressive waterfalls.
Translation into English or German was provided at every service and children’s Bible studies were also given in both English and German. Many local brethren enjoyed practising their English skills with our international guests.
The exceptional weather encouraged walks around the lake or in the forest full of moss, mushrooms and autumnal colors and the local staff at the “Kurhaus” where services were held commented that every year we are there the sun shines.
A very special event on the seventh day of the Feast was a wedding which all Feast attendees were invited to witness. The Feast this year ended with the exciting news of the addition of two new members of our spiritual family through baptism.
