2026 Camp Report: Colorado
Camp Colorado was a big success this year in beautiful Allenspark, Colorado.
On June 21, Father’s Day, families from all over the country gathered to give our preteens three exciting days of growing in their relationship with God and His people. We had our largest group of campers yet, with 60 preteens and 64 teen and family staff members.
This year’s theme, “Follow Me,” was especially applicable to our campers. We focused on learning that we are capable of doing hard things with God’s help. Each day began with wonderful food and spiritual lessons. Our kids stayed busy with activities ranging from arts and crafts, dance and slingshot to archery, hiking, field games and much more.
One of the new additions this year was a more challenging hike for our oldest campers. Known as the Three Crosses Hike, the trail gains more than 1,000 feet in elevation over a little more than two miles. Everyone made it to the top and agreed that the challenge and spectacular scenery were well worth the effort.
Every evening concluded with Christian living and a campfire sing-along, surrounded by God’s beautiful creation and stunning mountain peaks. It was a wonderful opportunity for our campers to build friendships, grow in faith and appreciate God’s creation in a special way.
As we look back on another incredible Camp Colorado, we are thankful for the many families, staff members and campers who made this year so special. We are already looking forward to next year and all that God has in store for us. We can’t wait to see what adventures, friendships and opportunities for spiritual growth await us at Camp Colorado 2027!
