Thankfulness is the opposite of sin. An ungrateful attitude is based on lusting for what we do not have. This mindset fills us with worry, driven by fretful plotting, to get what we want or keep what we want. Sin is driven by lusting after things we desire. Thankfulness destroys sin, since instead of focusing on what it is we do not have, we are content with what we have.
Ryan Hall

Ryan was born and raised in central Georgia. Baptized in 1997, he is a fourth-generation member of the Church of God. Ryan and wife, Nissa, have three children and one grandchild. Ryan serves as Pastor for the Youngstown (Ohio), Wheeling (West Virginia), and Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) congregations. Ryan also served as the Council Reporter from May 2022 - May 2025.
