You and I understand that people out in the world lack a hope that is anchored in the word of God. The peace that a relationship with God brings is unparalleled in value. Perhaps we pray for God to call certain individuals. Perhaps we pray that God would extend His call to more people in general. How ought we to think about this topic? What does God have to say on the matter? Is there a part that we can play as individual members of the Body? Is there a part that we, as a congregation, can play?

David has been a math teacher for 30 years in Arizona and New Mexico. He and Laura have been married 33 years, and have two adult sons and one daughter-in-law. David was ordained into the ministry in 2011. He currently serves as the pastor for the Albuquerque, NM, congregation of the United Church of God.
