We are constantly bombarded by deception, even from within. It must be important for God to let us be exposed to many concepts that would seem "shortcuts" to the Kingdom. The deceptions, promote to our carnal human nature "alternate" paths to salvation that appease carnality while supposedly qualifying us for the Kingdom.
