This Bible study focuses on Genesis 14-16.  The cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were taken in battle along with Abraham’s nephew Lot.  Abraham along with the fighting men of his company pursues and retakes the people and plunder that was taken.  In Chapter 16, God makes a covenant with Abraham and promises him that he would have a descendants that would be slaves in Egypt for 400 years,  Sarah gives Hagar to Abraham to conceive a child for her and she gave birth to Ishmael.
