God Is Glorified Through Weak but Faithful People

Let us not “despise the day of small things” (Zechariah 4:10). God is not limited by small numbers of servants nor by human weakness. God often performs His greatest miracles when, humanly speaking, success seems most unlikely. Now that our church is reduced in numbers, we should anticipate that God will do great things through us if we acknowledge our own weakness and God’s greatness “For when I am weak [in my own eyes], then I am strong [by trusting in God]” (2 Cor. 12:20). Consider the example of Gideon’s army! Therefore, “be strong, all you people, and work, for I am with you!” (Haggai 2:4).
