God's Merciful Judgment

This sermon explores the profound balance between God's justice and mercy in His plan for humanity. After Christ’s 1,000-year reign with the saints, a second resurrection will bring all who have ever lived to stand before the judgment seat of God, fulfilling the promise that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess. Scripture explains that God’s judgment is not merely about condemnation but rooted in fairness, accountability, and the opportunity for repentance, even for those who never knew Christ. This contrasts with the world’s harsh perception of judgment with the reality of God’s great mercy, where justice is tempered with compassion and all are given the chance to receive eternal life. Additionally, the saints' role, who are being prepared now to rule and judge with Christ in His reign, will reaffirm God’s ultimate goal to not just judge but to demonstrate His enduring kindness, mercy, and grace.
