Grab Hold and Don’t Let Go

When two people get married, the Bible describes their relationship to each other as one where they are to grab hold of each other and not let go. Somewhat famously, the Bible likens a relationship with God to that of a marriage—both long-term covenants of commitment. Finding other passages that use this word used to describe marriage in Genesis help us understand our relationship with Jesus Christ as Christians under the New Covenant.
