The Greatest Day

On June 6, many celebrated the 70th anniversary of what many historians hail as the pivotal event of the 20th Century: the D-Day invasion with the Allied Forces landing on the shores of Normandy. Some have even called it the turning point for the preservation of a free world, and as such, one of the greatest events in human history. Without the success of that invasion, much of our lives in today's world would be altered significantly. But the real feedom of mankind began on Pentecost 31 AD, nearly 2000 years ago. With the giving of the Holy Spirit, God has allowed individuals to assault a different beachhead - human nature.
