 My 6 year old grandson made an amazing observation a few weeks ago. He kept saying he didn't know who he would marry wnen he got older.Of course.... ther were a few chuckles...at least at first. Then...when asked why he was so concerned about this...he said you don't really know what people are like. They may say they are nice..but they might not be. Apretty keen observation. Then, he followed tha up with this thought...he said he might have to spy on them when they didn't know he was watching...so he could see how they really treat others!   WIth that...he showed me he had a better understanding than most grown ups...of just how important itis when chosing a mate.

Herb Vierra

Herb Vierra (1945-2020) grew up in Southern California, majoring in Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly, Pomona. He left school early and took a job as a Technical Illustrator in the aerospace industry. Herb managed a Television department and Mail Processing center, and worked as a licensed C-5 contractor designing and building custom cabinets and fireplace mantels.

Herb was ordained an elder in 1990 and served as an Associate Pastor for United Church of God congregations in Medford, Oregon, along with Eureka and Red Bluff in northern California for 3 years. He returned to Southern California in 2014.
