In this Bible study Mr Smith completes his series of studies from the book of John. In this study he looks at three events in Jesus' ministry showing how most did not understand or believe his teachings. Beginning in John 6:35 Jesus tries to explain to those who asked him for bread that he was not talking about physical bread, but rather about the spiritual bread that leads to eternal life. This encounter resulted in many who had been followers of Jesus to turn away from following him. Then in John 7 we see the feast approaching and Jesus' conversation with his physical brothers shows that they also did not believe his teachings. Than at the feast the Jews challenged Jesus about the source of his doctrines. Jesus replied that his doctrine came from the one who sent him (God the Father) but again they did not believe him and were angary with him for healing a man on the Sabbath day.
