Peace and Heaping Coals

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head." What does this mean and how should we respond?  Seek peace, pursue it earnestly. Matthew 5:43-48 Romans 12:17-21 Proverbs 25:21-22

Bruce Anderson was born and grew up in Litchfield, Minnesota. He received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 1968, and a Theology Degree from Ambassador College, Big Sandy in 1971. He worked in the ministry since Ambassador graduation, serving churches in Ohio, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Minnesota. He and his wife Phyllis lived in Litchfield, where he worked for his family business, Anderson Chemical Company. He enjoyed traveling, theatering, and “grandchildering”.
