Remember Who You Are

Nations face identity crises, and individuals face an identity crisis. If you were asked, "Who are you" how would you respond? Perhaps you would respond with your name, profession, and title. Perhaps you would then add the statement: I'm a Christian also. Most descriptors used defined stages of life in how we relate to others currently. While they may be a part of you they're not permanent. Perhaps you've struggled with an identity crisis or you may be going through an identity crisis at the current moment and don't realize it. On this day of Pentecost, we will look at some events in scripture that nations and individuals forgot who they were and the consequences. As followers of Christ, first fruit, our identity is in Christ! That is what we are first and everything else is second. Thus is it imperative that we remember who we are!

God brought me to his truth in 1982 through a Good News Magazine entitled: How Do You Handle Conflict. Kathy, my wife, and I have celebrated 33 years of marriage. We have two sons, Kody and Caleb.
