Today happens to be this Father's Day weekend, and tomorrow we're going to be honoring our fathers. And fathers are largely responsible for the world we live. They're usually the head of the households throughout history, and they're the ones that have pro-created children with a mother, of course, but they hold a very important responsibility in this society. And, sadly, it's deteriorating very quickly. The father's role, the mother's role, society is on a skid, unfortunately. And I'm going to be talking a bit about this, because this is a very serious matter. And I've been meditating over this subject now for a good two months, and I finally gelled and put all the pieces together, jigs off puzzles. I tend to do that, which is just you start incubating ideas and start developing them, piece by piece, and then finally it comes together. And as I read papers and looking at the world scene, I kept thinking that there are certain things in this world that God is only going to allow mankind to have only once. They are so dangerous that God is only going to allow human civilization to possess these certain things. Some are inventions, some are social customs, but what is happening is like a drum in my head. I keep thinking God is going to allow man only once to have certain things, because they are so dangerous. And as we go over these seven things that I consider looking at the Bible, looking at history, that they are so dangerous that God can only allow man to experience once, because it's like handling dynamite. It's just going to blow up one day, and it's going to cause enormous damage. And so we live in what can be called the technological age, the age of electronics. The 20th century was the highlight, the beginning of the electronic revolution, where electricity was harnessed and began to really be developed in machines like computers. Of course, now we have all these lights going on. We use them for telephones, smartphones. We use them for computers and a multitude of things. We send satellites into space that transmit electronically communication signals. And just a hundred years ago, what a difference a century makes. 1917. Some of our parents were born just a couple of years after that. Many of those that are older, their parents lived in the 1920s. Some maybe even into the late 1910s. Let me, before I develop this subject further, mention what life was like in 1917. Electricity was still just for the privileged. You didn't have these big electrical plants that now all the houses are electrified. They've got everything electronic. That wasn't the case a hundred years ago. It was only for the lucky few. The average US hourly wage was 22 cents an hour. Just a century ago, just basically got a quarter. One of those little quarters that we have, that's how much a whole hour's worth of work was worth. The literacy rate for the world was 23 percent. Just a fourth of the people on earth a century ago could read and write. Now, of course, it's up there more into almost the 90s, the world literacy rate. It's interesting that in 1917, Boeing launched its first aircraft on June 15, 1917. That's just right this week. Boeing is celebrating the first aircraft that is sent up. Well, today we have 25,000 planes that fly through the air just every day. From one to 25,000, carrying millions, approximately four million people every day around the earth. Only eight percent of the homes had a telephone, less than ten percent. Everybody else had to walk to someplace to communicate what they wanted.
The U.S. population was a hundred million. Now it's 320 million. More than three times. It's tripled in the past hundred years. Only 14 percent in the U.S. had bathtubs with running water. A little over 10 percent of the people could take a bath inside their house. They had to go and had a well someplace. They didn't have a bathtub, things that we take for granted. But just as a lot of technological progress has happened, so also the evils of society have multiplied and truly are appalling. So there is also a dark side to the world that we have now. That wasn't the case then. People were more religious then. They were more honest. You could say they had more normal habits. The world today is a far more dangerous place. And so for the remainder of the sermon, I want to present to you the seven things we can be sure God will not allow man to have again. We're living in a generation that has opened certain doors, certain Pandora boxes that now they're not going to be shut. Mankind already has acquired his knowledge. The genie is out. You can't put it back in the bottle. And so I was very impressed when I saw this list and put it together for you. So this is a sermon on prophecy, Bible prophecy. What is the first of those things that God will not allow man to have twice? This is the only time he's going to allow it because of its destructive nature. Those are nuclear arms.
It can be the total destruction of mankind and the physical surface of the planet. Just with a thousand of those nuclear bombs, it would wipe away every human being alive on this earth. And we not only have a thousand, we have over ten thousand. We can destroy the earth ten times over if all the nuclear bombs were used on this earth. Now, there was a law in the fabrication of nuclear arms during the Cold War. At that time, Russia, America, faced off. This was back around 1945 and basically went all the way to 1990 with the dissolution of the Soviet Empire. And during those approximately, we would call, 45 years, there was a standoff. The United States kept its allies so they wouldn't have nuclear arms, more than the nations that already had established them. And the Soviet Union kept their side also without the proliferation. But that protection, because it wasn't a very strong one, pretty flimsy, that protection is gone now.
With a world that is more permissive and war weary, more nations and some quite dangerous are rushing to acquire nuclear weapons. This is happening before our very eyes.
Like I said, nuclear proliferation or the multiplication of nuclear arms acquired by different nations used to be the exclusive club of a few powerful nations. The United States, Russia, China, Great Britain, and France were the nuclear club for many years.
But slowly there was a bit of leakage. It wasn't all so waterproof. And so a couple of nations started acquiring on the sly.
Two of those nations were India and Pakistan. They are both nuclear-capable nations. They have nuclear capacity. Israel also acquired nuclear bombs. But the two most dangerous ones are North Korea and, pretty soon, Iran as well.
These nations are different because they don't hew the line of any other influence in the world. North Korea follows its own tune, and so does Iran. And it's interesting that, prophetically, there's a time that it talked about weak nations suddenly becoming strong and dangerous. The scripture is in Joel 3, verse 9-13. This is right before the coming of Christ, and that weak nations would all of a sudden become quite strong. They would acquire certain military power and knowledge. Notice what it says here. Proclaim this among the nations. Prepare for war. Wake up the mighty men. Let all the men of war draw near. Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. This is the opposite of what's going to happen when Christ comes back, where they're going to beat their swords into plowshares. And their pruning hooks are going to be made from the spears. But now there's a time before Christ comes when weak nations, it says here, Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weak say, I am strong. Assemble and come, all you nations. And gather together all around. Cause your mighty ones to come down there, O Lord. Let the nations be wakened and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat. For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down, for the winepress is full. The vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. God is going to punish them. That valley of Jehoshaphat is there in front of Jerusalem. And after they gather together in Armageddon, they're going to come to Jerusalem.
So this is a time when the weak nations say, I am strong. And this is happening. This nuclear proliferation is the greatest danger that mankind faces today. I know some in the past have said climate change. Well, that is so subjective. We're not having the poles melt in all of these problems, we don't know. But right now, the greatest danger is nuclear proliferation. These rogue nations building up their nuclear arsenal, sending out inter-ballistic missiles into the oceans, testing the water, see how far they can get away with.
That is the greatest danger right now. If all these nations had nuclear weapons a hundred years ago, how many think some wouldn't have used them by now? Wouldn't it be very likely? We are just at the beginning of this very dangerous time. North Korea is the great danger now. And soon, approximately in like five years, or six years, when this treaty that was given expires, Iran could have atomic weapons. If that's the case, then Saudi Arabia is going to want to do so because they are adversaries. And again, we are multiplying this great danger. And God is only allowing mankind to have nuclear weapons once. Because, as I have said, mankind has always used the weapons they have created. And this isn't the exception to the rule, especially with these rogue nations, with crazy leaders that don't care if they cause another world war to occur.
They don't know it, but they are fulfilling what Christ predicted before He came back in Matthew 24, verse 22.
It says, And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened. So God has to intervene, or else no flesh will remain alive. And that is quickly happening because as more knowledge is being disseminated, pretty soon out of the Internet they are going to give you all the information about how to create a nuclear bomb.
It's going to be easier and easier for nations and terrorists to design small, tactical nuclear bombs. So you see the genie is out of the bottle, and nobody can put it back. These nations are not going to turn over their atomic bombs. So we have created this dilemma in our lives, in this world.
Now, this is just the first great danger that God is allowing mankind. He gave them the mentality, the intelligence, and the capacity to invent these things. But it had never happened until this past century. It was in the 20th century. There's a famous quote by Albert Einstein who said, if he had known what they would have used his theory of relativity, and E equals MC squared, if he would have known what mankind would eventually do with it, which was to create atomic bombs, he said he'd rather become a cobbler or a shoemaker. He'd rather have chosen that profession, because in a sense, he gave the tools to be able to create these terrible bombs. Of course, the Germans also were very close to having it during World War II, and so this caused the acceleration of the development of these bombs. Nevertheless, we're living with them now, and this is one thing that God is not going to allow a future generation to invent. This is the only time he's allowing it because of the seriousness and the capacity to destroy all Earth.
That takes us to the second of these great dangers that man is developing, and that is biological and chemical weapons.
You can also wreak total destruction with them.
This can destroy humanity and many other species on Earth.
These deadly man-made viruses and diseases are actually being created in laboratories around the world. If some of these man-made viruses get out, there might not be any type of antidote. It might just ravage the entire world, just like the Spanish flu did back 100 years ago. It killed over 100 million people. That was just a normal flu. What if it's a man-made flu that is not going to have any type of solution or elimination? In Revelation 6, verse 8, it talks about the fourth horseman of the apocalypse, the fourth that is going to ride on this Earth. I'd like to read it from the International Standard Version, Revelation 6, verse 8, and it says, I looked, and there was a pale green horse. Its rider's name was Death, and Hades, or the grave, followed him. This was sort of like the bubonic plague. It was just a matter of time, and everybody was being buried because it was such a quick death. They were given authority over one-fourth of the Earth. That's approximately a fourth of the population. Right now we're at 7.5 billion people, so close to 8 billion. That would be affected by this. To kill people using wars, famines, plagues, and the wild animals of the Earth. Of course, when society breaks down, wild animals come in, but that's after the aftermath of this. I'd like to read from an article from the magazine American Scientist, January 2001. It had an article on biological warfare. It said, Genetically modified viruses in microorganisms that could be used to develop new biological weapons. Biological weapons have been called the poor man's atom bomb. By any measure, the economic outlay required to develop offensive bioweapons capabilities is significantly less than that of a nuclear program. If you don't have all the money to build nuclear bombs, build one of these biological bombs.
This is also a threat that God is not going to allow man to fiddle around with these things for a second time. When Christ comes back, he's not going to allow man to start inventing these biological weapons. But right now, we don't have anybody that can check this. It is running rampant. The laboratories and the defense networks are working overtime to build more powerful weapons, such as biological and chemical weapons. They're stored away. They haven't been used yet, but they are there. And so that is the second great threat that we have to our existence. Because man can come up with a type of a biological virus, a man made that doesn't have any weaknesses, that no antibiotic, nothing will solve it. And this is the great danger that we're living. This is not science fiction. I'm not pulling this out of a Jules Verne novel. This is actually true. This is happening right now. The world doesn't care, but we care because we know what's going on. This is a very dangerous world. What is the third danger that mankind faces today? Again, God's not going to allow man to have this type of knowledge in the future because of how dangerous it is. It's called genetic engineering. It can also produce the total destruction of humanity and other species. Right now, laboratories around the world are working on genetic engineering, on humans, on cloning, on gene editing, editing the genes and making different things that were not naturally designed. And also, on the food that we eat. Who knows what all the consequences are in the long term? Most of this is being done for a profit, but we don't know the consequences of doing all this gene editing and engineering in this way. It can have a lot of unintended consequences. Again, something can cause nature to be unbalanced because of this. Something can be unleashed that man is not going to be able to control. See, God created every living thing with genetic walls placed there to separate the different species from the others. Just like it tells us in Genesis 1, verse 24 through 26, it says, It says, then God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind, its genetic kind. There are genetic walls that separate. Cats don't become dogs. Monkeys don't become leopards. We have all of these over a million species. Some have calculated 10 million species. And yet, they all form a different species or type. Now, you can have varieties, like you can have a variety of dogs, from a little chihuahua to a great Dane. But they're all dogs, and they can only remain dogs. You can mix them. You can make all kinds of different varieties. But you can't change their makeup, because again, there are genetic walls. Just like you can mix a horse with a donkey, and you can create a mule. But the mule, in about 80% of its time, is infertile. It cannot reproduce. And if it happens to be fertile, it can only go back to being either a donkey or a horse. But you have these genetic walls of certain limits in the variation.
So it says here, let them bring forth a living creature according to its kind, cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind. And it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
There were no genetic problems with that. But now man is starting to mix the species, the different kinds. Now with genetic editing, man can start creating little monsters and all of these creatures in a different way. God has the principle not to mix. He created everything in a separate way. Notice in Leviticus 19, the principle to leave each kind as it should be. Don't start messing around trying to combine all of them.
You're going to create aberrations. Leviticus 19, verse 19, it says, you shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind. You shall not sow your field with mixed seed, nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you. So this is the principle that certain things are good if you keep them in their order, but don't mix them together. And so with the genetic engineering, which is taking off, companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, and the defense industries, they are just going forward, pushing the computer power and capacity to its limits, creating, helping, and laboratories to create things that were not possible before.
It's part of what God feared. Man would acquire so much knowledge that nothing would be withheld from them. They'll start creating Frankenstein-type monsters pretty soon. This type of creatures that are made in the image of the scientist, not made by God himself. Notice in Genesis 11, this is the Tower of Babel all over again.
In Genesis 11.6, the technology was growing so much at that time that God said, if I don't stop them now, they will be able to create weapons of mass destruction. And then man's not going to be around enough for the Messiah to come and for the plan of salvation to develop. So he had to stop them in their tracks.
It says here in Genesis 11, verse 6, And the Lord said, Indeed, the people are one, and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do. Now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. And so God divided the languages so that man could not acquire enough knowledge to be able to blow himself up before the end time. Well now, as you well know, the language, universal language, is basically, there are two of them.
In the social world, it's English, and in the scientific and engineering world, it's mathematics. And with those two, all of the people are combining knowledge and multiplying it, creating breakthroughs, a week after week. That takes us to the fourth danger that we face today. God's not going to allow it a second time. And that is the subject of artificial intelligence.
It can lead to the total destruction of mankind. Computers are becoming so potent, and given such decision-making power, that they can eventually reach what scientists call a singularity, which is when the machines begin to think for themselves. They begin to have so much knowledge, and given so much autonomy, that they begin, they say, we don't need a human being. We're smarter than a human being. We're going to make decisions on our own.
Again, accidents can happen if computers that become autonomous and begin to make decisions. Right now, there's a lot of machines that make decisions when you have these airport towers. A lot of computers don't even wait for the man to make the decision. They see there's going to be a collision. They're made to intervene. It doesn't matter what the man does. Also, in airplanes, if there's going to be a problem, the computer can override the manual instructions.
And so, as they become more powerful, that can be a two-edged sword. It can become very dangerous. If powerful computers connect to the Internet and have all of that knowledge, like a central processor, and they're going to have their own database, which is the Internet, they will just leap over human intelligence.
That's the great danger of many of these computer scientists. What if these computers begin to connect to the Internet and begin to use all that knowledge for their own purposes? It's going to be like Frankenstein, where the danger is losing control of these machines. And then the monster turns on its creator. In Daniel 12, verse 4, God describes the world before God intervenes powerfully in world affairs.
In Daniel 12, verse 4, it says, But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. The two characteristics, worldwide travel and worldwide communications, where knowledge is being propagated in such an exponential way. That takes us to the fifth great danger that mankind is facing. All of these for the first time. I mean, the Romans didn't have to worry about genetic engineering or nuclear weapons or biological weapons as such. But now we do have these dangers. The fifth one is the dark side of the Internet. The dark side of the Internet. This causes moral destruction to humanity and the family values.
Yes, it's Genesis 6-5 all over again. Genesis 6-5, where God looked at the earth.
Verse 5, it says, Sinful. That's what it's talking about here. Just breaking God's laws flagrantly.
We see evil multiplying like never before.
The Internet possesses a corrupting power like nothing else ever invented. Just some statistics I pulled out of a couple of websites. It says that porn sites attract more visitors each month than Amazon, Netflix, and Twitter combined. 30% of Internet content is porn. Pornography. Almost one in three. God said that the man was going to morally deteriorate so badly before Christ came back on this earth. Notice in 2 Timothy 3, verse 1. 2 Timothy 3, verse 1.
It says, But know this, that in the last days, not talking about Paul's days, but in the last days, the end time, perilous times, dangerous times. Why? Because of these inventions of man, these new powers that man has acquired through invention and discovery. Perilous times will come, for men will be lovers of themselves. People are just going to think about themselves. They could care less about the rest of the world. Have you seen how egoistical people are now? They live their own world. Leave me alone. I just want to have fun. I just want to do my own thing.
That's the way it's described here. For men will be lovers of themselves. Lovers of money. That's certainly more the case now than ever before.
Boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents. We see this rebellion, this adolescent delinquency going on. It's a very different world than maybe 40 years ago in school, where kids had to respect their teachers, and they couldn't say certain things to the teachers. Now the teachers are intimidated by the students, and the parents are intimidated by their kids.
Blasphemers, we see God's word, God's name being blasphemed ever before, too. Disobedient, unthankful. We live in a society that doesn't appreciate things. They think it's earned. It's an entitlement.
Unholy. What do they care about? Spiritual things. Most people are out just having a good time. Unloving. We don't have the same devoted love and families as there was before, in the great majority of the cases. Unforgiving. People with grudges going out and shooting people. We see this every week. What happened there in Washington. Just here, some of these congressmen were getting ready for just a baseball game. Somebody came in because of these grudges, and some politicians egging them on about the hate and shooting people over it. Slanders without self-control. We don't see that self-control very much at all. People go off in all kinds of temper tantrums. Brutal. That's dealing with terrorism. Despisers of good. Traders. Headstrong. Hottie. Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness, but denying its power. Oh yes, they all want to feel good. But denying the Creator that created the goodness.
And so, this is a description. It's creating great damage, and we know people are getting more addicted to things than ever before. John chapter 8. John chapter 8 and verse 34. Christ gave this principle that has to do with the internet. John 8, 34. This is a simple principle. It applies then, as it does today. It says, Jesus answered them, Most assuredly I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. So if people are letting the internet control their lives, and a lot of sinful things going on there, they become slaves of them. They become addicted. And so this is deteriorating the moral fabric of society like few things ever have. Now, you've always had liquor, which has been a problem in ancient world as it is today, but the internet is something that a person can just innocently look at or start viewing and they can get addicted very quickly to it.
In 1 Peter chapter 1, here's the solution provided in the Bible to this. 1 Peter 1 verse 13. It says, So we've got to examine ourselves. It's just, So we've got to examine ourselves. It's just something I'm watching that comes from God or comes from Satan. Is it something holy or unholy? So the dark side of the internet is destroying consciences, destroying marriages, destroying children's innocence faster than anything ever invented by human beings. That takes us to the sixth great danger, which is the permissive drug culture. The moral destruction that is going on in humanity and the family values, it's just tearing away at the fabric. Just recently, we've seen a worldwide upswing to the permissiveness of drugs. It's now being commercialized. I just read today in the Orange County Register that here in California, the budget bill included a lot of procedures to be able to sell and make money and also facilitate marijuana use for people. Part of the bill allows for home delivery of marijuana, more outlets so they can promote it in stores. It is addictive. It is a hallucinogenic drug. What do you think they're called? Potheads. That's not something you want to be doing, becoming one. How would you like people to be driving on the street while you're driving under the influence of that way?
Heroin and the opioid epidemic is just incredible, the amount of people addicted to all kinds of drugs. And the problem is the permissiveness of society. They just are saying, well, everybody do their own thing. We'll look the other way. We're not going to get involved. In Ecclesiastes 8, verse 11, it tells us the danger. When you don't put your foot down in time, it's going to be too late later on. Ecclesiastes 8, verse 1, we have this biblical principle.
Ecclesiastes 8, verse 11, it says, Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. I can get away with it. It's permissive. And so police officers now have a very hard time doing anything because of all the different prejudices and also the permissiveness of this age. That is something that God's going to allow only once for the drugs to proliferate. Most of these drugs are artificially made. Eighty different substances are circulated around the world. They have created hundreds of them in laboratories, but there are eighty that are commercially viable. So pick your poison. It's out there. Through the Internet, it's going to also... Boom! But again, is this something that God created? Mankind? To be out there in a hallucinogenic fog and just waiting to get high in this way?
See, marijuana is very different from drinking a little wine or drinking a beer. You can drink wine. It's a type of a food. You can have it over a meal. And it's not going to cause hallucinogenic effects. Or if you have a beer, it's not going to create it. You have to drink excess amount to start having hallucinogenic effects. But with pot, it's going to give you a high right away. And you're going to be stimulated by that. Pretty soon, that's going to become part of your lifestyle. And this is what this permissive society is allowing. And God knows because the sentence is not executed, then the heart of men become more evil, more flagrant. Crimes are committed.
In 2 Timothy chapter 3, verse 13, I read the first part of this chapter, but here's a point to be made. In verse 13 it says, but evil men and imposters will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Mankind, as a near God's intervention, they're going to get worse. How would you like to rear children that are going to be smoking, they're going to be involved in schools where people are smoking pot, and they're going to be exposed to it? And pretty soon, now it's going to be allowed to be in ballparks, in public areas.
Oh, you can't say anything because that's the person's right. So you're going to start getting secondary smoke from some of these things. That takes us to the last great danger, which is widespread alternative lifestyles. The moral destruction of the family, of marriage, of family values. A lot of this has to do with the belief in evolution. Well, we're just smart monkeys. We just evolved. And so we don't have any judgment upon us. We don't have any moral responsibility before a creator. And so with this idea, it also caused permissiveness, the allowance of evil to proliferate.
In June 2015, just two years ago, in the United States, the Supreme Court permitted homosexual marriages. I refuse to call it gay because the word gay means happy. And that's not something God created as something positive. It isn't. That's one of Satan's ideas, is to make something evil sound with a nice word to it. So it sounds more palatable, more acceptable. No, that's not gay. That's not something acceptable before God. It's homosexual marriages. And before that, the DOMA, which was the law of the land, had to do with the defense of the marriage amendment passed by Bill Clinton in the 90s.
That rule. But now all of that is gone. And Daniel chapter 8, verse 23, tells us God's going to intervene because the moral climate and the moral fiber has deteriorated to a point where He has to stop it from getting worse. In Daniel chapter 8, verse 23, it says, And in the latter time of their kingdom, talking again about the last period before Christ comes, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, then it says, Then it says, a king shall arise.
This is talking about the beast power that God will permit to arise. But it says, when the transgressors have reached their fullness, in other words, there's a threshold. When you cross it, things start happening. And with the widespread alternative lifestyles, it is focusing on one of God's dearest treasures on earth, family values. In Malachi chapter 4, God warns us of this. Again, He's not going to live our lives, but we will be responsible to give account one day for our lives before Him.
In Malachi chapter 4, verse 4, it's interesting, Malachi is the last book before the prophets became silent for almost 400 years until John the Baptist began. But He gives us prophecy of Christ coming. It talks about it in verse 1. I'm not going to go into that, but it's talking about the day of His coming, the day of the Lord.
And then He says, verse 4, Remember the law of Moses, my servant. That includes the Ten Commandments, which I commanded Him in Horeb for all Israel with the statutes and judgments. There are three parts to God's law. Commandments, statutes, and judgments. Commandments are the main laws of God.
Statutes are the development of other regulations based on those main laws, and judgments are how to apply them in certain circumstances. Judgments, how do you apply this? And God gave judgments. If an ox goers a person, here's what you do. So they're all based on God's Ten Commandments. He goes on to say, verse 5, Behold, I send you, Elijah the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.
You don't want to get God upset because He sees here the deterioration so badly that it's going to be worse than it could have been. And so there is a work of Elijah being carried out today. We need to get this message to the world and keep those family values and stay with them till the end.
Never allow this to invade our own personal lives. We have to do our part, protect our families, realize in the end time when God will forcefully intervene in world events is something nearing, it's coming closer. Never again will God allow these seven great dangers to be repeated in human history. Daniel 12, verse 1, as we conclude here with a few scriptures. Daniel 12, verse 1, it says, So it's talking about a time like we've never seen. One of the reasons is because of what man's technological progress has permitted to have today.
Great dangers that we have to be aware of. But the good news is it's just temporary. Man's rule is not going to continue on this earth. Christ will intervene and bring about that millennium when none of these things will be repeated. When man again is going to have rulership under Christ, it's going to be done in a very different way. Notice in Isaiah chapter 2, we're not going to have to worry about nuclear bombs.
All of that knowledge will be shelled away never to be reopened. Nobody's going to want to do it. The heart of man is going to be different. It's like a church member today. Which church member would want to create an atomic bomb? I mean, you'd have to kill me before.
I went ahead and did something like that. You'd have to... I'm not going to create nuclear weapons for anybody. In Isaiah chapter 2, verse 1, it says, the word that Isaiah the son of Amos saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, "...now it shall come to pass in the latter days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills. And all nations shall flow to it, instead of against it as they do today." Who's listening to God's servants today? Very few people. Many people shall come and say, come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths. "...For out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. He shall judge between the nations and rebuke many people. They shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore." So those first dangers that we talked about, nuclear proliferation, that's not going to happen. Biological and chemical warfare, that's not going to happen.
Any type of genetic engineering of changing the species and the kinds, that's not going to happen. Artificial intelligence, we're not going to let computers run away with all of decision making. And then in Isaiah 11, verse 6 and 9, people will come to their senses. They will realize they made a grave mistake when they opened up these Pandora boxes. In Isaiah 11, verse 6, it says, The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leper shall lie down with a young goat, and the calf and the young lion, and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them. Verse 9, they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. It will all be guided by Christ. We will focus on the good side of electronics. We will use all of the things created in this world for good. But we will no longer go to that dark side of evil. So, brethren, those are the seven things that I have seen that God will only allow mankind to develop once.
