We look at the first Feast of Weeks when the law was given at Mount Sinai. God set out to give them a new identity to be His very own children: sons and daughters that become part of the very family of God. We see that baptism of repentance for sin is not enough. We need the Holy Spirit poured into us to understand the law of God and become clean enough to dwell with the devouring fire.
