Take the Lowest Place

Christ told us in a parable, “Sit down in the lowest place,” when we are invited to a wedding feast. This parable teaches us to be humble before God, for in due time He will raise us up to the place of honor. Know your place before God, and when it is time He will say, “Come up here.” Your humility edifies the Church.

Andy Diemer is the pastor of the Fort Myers, Florida congregation and the associate pastor serving the congregations in Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida. He served as the pastor of the churches in New England from 2014 to 2021. He was baptized into the Church in 1981 and ordained as an elder in 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He had a thirty-year career in manufacturing before being hired by the UCG in 2014.
