Though I Was Blind, Now I See

In John 9 where Christ heals a man born blind, we can learn many lessons from this story as God has healed our spiritual eyes to be recreated in His image and to be cleansed. Christ revealed He is the Light of the world; we've been called today to see this Light and to go out and be lights to the world. As we have this blessing, let's ensure we never take the approach of the religious leaders of Christ's day who closed their eyes and refused to see.

Andy Diemer is the pastor of the Fort Myers, Florida congregation and the associate pastor serving the congregations in Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach, Florida. He served as the pastor of the churches in New England from 2014 to 2021. He was baptized into the Church in 1981 and ordained as an elder in 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He had a thirty-year career in manufacturing before being hired by the UCG in 2014.
