Title: God Will Be Glorified in the Millennium!

Today, God does not get the glory and honor due Him. He is cursed, or ignored when things go well, and blamed when things go bad. However, the Millennium will see the fulfillment of Numbers 14: 21: “All the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD!”

This sermon was given at the Branson, Missouri 2019 Feast site.

I appreciate very much the very fine sermonette, an offeratory message from my dear friend, Mr. Don Pirowitz. And he already spilled half of the beans on me when he said that he's got a story about me. But I won't share that story with you right now. But as you know, he was one of the very first men I met when I came into the church just a few years ago, 1966 in Buffalo, New York, and how blessed we have been to maintain our friendship for decades. This past June, the Springfield, Missouri church, where Mr. Pirowitz is the pastor of it, hosted a picnic in the Springfield area, and I drove down from St. Louis. I mean, I don't want to miss picnics. So, and it was rain, just constant rain, rain, rain, rain, rain. And then we got to the shelter, and thankfully the shelter did not leak, but it was just pouring down rain. And Mr. Dale Prince, the stalwart, special music director, was out there with an umbrella and cooking, you know, barbecuing meat there. What dedication. But anyway, at the picnic, I was talking to one of the church members, and in referring to Mr. Pirowitz, I jokingly said that I had taught Mr. Pirowitz everything he knows. But then I got to be thinking about it afterwards. A light bulb came on in my mind. Really, it was the other way around. Because if you've ever been around Mr. Pirowitz, you have seen that he here is a godly man.

A man of character, a man of steadfastness, kindness, gentleness, spiritual depth, optimism, godly love, and loyalty. Now, those things are of God, and so in that real sense, he actually taught me everything I need to know.

So the title of my sermon today is, God Will Be Glorified in the Millennium. God will be glorified in the millennium. Now, this theme has been developing already during the opening prayer, the sermonette, the hymns we've been singing, the congregational hymns we've been singing, the beautiful, authoratory music, and the video from the home office, that the theme of glorifying God in the millennium is already being taught. God is going to be glorified in the coming kingdom. Nothing else is of greater importance.

Our job as kings and priests in the coming kingdom will be to bring glory to His holy and righteous name. You know, today God does not get the glory and the honor due Him.

God is cursed. He is ignored when things go well. And then He's blamed when things go bad. And, you know, the Third Commandment about not taking the name of God in vain is broken again and again and again.

And people seem to like to take His holy and righteous name in vain, and they seem to like to take the name of Jesus Christ in vain as well. But I want to just go back to just a few words of the song that we just heard from the home office, because we're focusing on God's glory. So the song is, Lord, You are our God. We will honor You.

We will give You praise. Then continuing on, let the nations come. Let them honor You and revere Your name and Your power proclaim. Yes, this beautiful music, which we just heard, captured the theme again of bringing glory to the great name of God.

You know, even with religious people, they think they can worship God with their man-made statues, various religious objects, which really are idols. That's just what they are. They're just really the breaking of the Second Commandment. But they actually think they're worshiping God. They actually think they're worshiping Jesus Christ. But God has selected us to teach us the Ten Commandments, and to prepare now, trusting God in faith, to prepare now for the coming Kingdom. Let's read some Scriptures about the glory of God, which must take place, and how we all yearn to be a part of that. A part of a team, a part of a family that would be glorifying God. Let's go to Leviticus chapter 10. Leviticus chapter 10, and we will look at verse 3.

Then Moses said to Aaron, Leviticus 10.3, Moses said to Aaron, This is what the Lord spoke, saying, By those who come near me, I must be regarded as holy. And before all the people, I must be glorified. God's nature, God's character is of such an essence that our only response to God, our first and primary response to God, is to worship Him and to obey Him as the Holy One, because He is holy, and He must be glorified. Let's go to Numbers 14, and this is a scripture which was written, spoken a long time ago by the one who later became Jesus Christ. And so in Numbers 14, 21, But truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. That day is coming.

And as God's children, as God's family, we're going to be able to partake of this. We're going to be able to take God's glory and spread it to the entirety of the world. Let's take a look at several Psalms here. Psalm 66 and verse 4. All the earth shall worship you. That day is coming. All the earth shall worship you and sing praises to you. And they shall sing praises to your name. You know, God created the human voice that many human voices are quite musical, and can sing, and can carry a tune, and can sing on key. And those voices are created to sing praises to God. By the way, I snuck in here yesterday where everybody was preparing, getting things ready. The choir was practicing, and the choir sounded quite well. I think you went through all your songs. You went through them one after the other after the other, and you sounded quite, quite well. Quite nice. Well, God created the human voice to sing praises to Him. And the day will come when they will sing praises to God's name. Psalm 72 and verse 9. I'm just giving Scriptures, proving the point that God is going to be glorified in the millennium. He's going to be glorified in the Kingdom. Psalm 72 and verse 9. Those who dwell in the wilderness will bow before Him, and His enemies will lick the dust. They will fall flat on their faces. And here's another translation. Let the nomads of the desert, the nomads, the wanderers, bow before Him, and His enemies lick the dust. These days are coming. Psalm 72 and 19. And blessed be His glorious name forever, and let the whole earth be filled with His glory. Thy kingdom come. We cannot wait for that day. Psalm 108. And the word glorious has to do, as you know, with glory, honor, abundance. One of the commentaries brought out that glory and abundance is a connection there. Glorious means dignity, holding God in great reverence. Psalm 108 and verse 5.

Psalm 108 and verse 5.

Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and your glory above all the earth. And then He does say a practical prayer that your beloved may be delivered. God is going to deliver, of course, in the times ahead. The trouble is times ahead. He's going to deliver His beloved and save us with His right hand. But God is to be exalted above the heavens. So one big question I have right now. How will God's glory fill the earth? How will His glory fill the earth? Zechariah 14. Let's turn to Zechariah 14.

And again, we're very familiar with this scripture. Zechariah 14.9. And the Lord shall be king over all the earth. And that day the Lord is one, and His name one. Christ is coming to this earth. His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives. He'll split the Mount of Olives. That's what it says. And He's going to be the king over all the earth. There'll just be one Lord and His name one. Now in verse 17, well, let's go to verse 16, Zechariah 14.16.

And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the king, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And there's a practical application for us today because, as Mr. Pirowitz was bringing out, the physical things that we get to enjoy because of saving second tithe, the physical things that we don't get to enjoy during the year. We're too busy paying bills, but with second tithe, we're able to really go to nice places and stay in nice places. But it's more than just the physical. We are here today and for this week to worship the king, to worship God the Father and the Great One who sits at His right hand. So we are here to do that now.

So God's glory is going to fill the earth because Jesus Christ will be ruling. He will be ruling from Jerusalem. Psalm 68, and it's going to be the whole earth. It's going to be absolutely the whole earth. Will it be a gradual progression of things? Will it take a couple of generations for people to get the point? We've all heard sermons that we indicate it's going to take some time for people to really get the point. Psalm 68, verse 28, Your God has commanded your strength, strengthen, O God, which you have done for us. And verse 29, because of your temple at Jerusalem, kings will bring presence to you. Kings and world rulers will be bringing presence to Jesus Christ. I read in a Bible commentary some time ago that the Queen of England, I think it was Queen Victoria, she had heard a sermon about the coming Kingdom, Christ returning. Christ is coming. She heard that sermon, and she said, Well, I hope I'm alive when that happens because I want to lay my crown before his feet. That's what she said. That's what she said. So kings will bring presence to you. Rebuke the beasts of the reeds, the herd of bulls with calves of the peoples, until everyone submits himself with pieces of silver, scatter the peoples who delight in war, unvoiced, religious unvoiced will come out of Egypt, Ethiopia will quickly stretch out her hands to God. That day is coming when the whole world will be giving God glory, the glory that is due him. Habakkuk 2, verse 14, and we heard this. There's a sister verse here that Mr. Pirowitz read in Isaiah. Habakkuk says this in Habakkuk 2, verse 14. And we'll see what it says here. For the earth, chapter 2, 14, the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. So the result of the rule of Jesus Christ will be that the knowledge of God's glory will fill the entire earth. Now, one of the first accomplishments that Jesus Christ will do when he begins his rule is he will begin to destroy all idols and idolatrous forms of worship. Let's turn to again Zechariah chapter 13 this time, Zechariah 13 and verse 1. And in that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and uncleanness, so symbolizing a cleansing, a washing away of sin. It shall be in that day, verse 2, that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered. All the various names of pagan idols and false religious worship, they will be cut off. And they shall no longer be remembered. I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to depart from the land. Now, on the day of Atonement, we celebrated in advance the great unclean spirit departing. He will be cast into the bottomless pit, and there will be set a chain upon him. And he will stay there until the end of the millennium, and he will be released at the end of the millennium one more time to test the hearts of people who will never have been tested before. But they will get their test at the end of the millennium. But the point is, even after that, Scripture says that the devil will be cast into outer darkness and be a wandering star forever and ever. And so truly, the unclean spirit will depart from the land.

Micah 5 and verse 12. We'll go to Micah.

Chapter 5 and verse 12. God speaking here, God speaking, I will cut off sorceries from your hand, and you shall have no soothsayers. Your carved images I will cut off, and your sacred pillars from your midst. You shall no more worship the work of your hands.

I will pluck your wooden images from your midst, and I will destroy your cities. So anybody that is going to insist upon the pagan deity, well, this is what's going to happen to them, including being the sorceries and the soothsayers, or people who think it's fun to contact evil spirits. And I hope that none of our people, I hope that none of our young people, start playing around with contacting or trying to contact evil spirits. It would be a disaster. It would be a disaster. So please don't go that way, young people. You'll get yourself a tremendous amount of trouble.

Well, let's go on to point two. Point one was, how will God's glory fill the earth? And God's glory will fill the earth because Christ will be the ruler. He will rule from Jerusalem. So point two now, God's glory will fill the earth because He will use His royal priesthood to praise Him. God's going to use people like you and I, divine spirit beings at that time, and He will use us to praise Him. Now, Jesus Christ, under the supreme direction of His Father, is quite capable of ruling the world all by Himself. But He is willing to allow us to join Him in ruling the world. Let's turn to Jude 14. This tells us the number of first resurrection people, spirit beings. It gives us the number right here. Of course, it rounds it off a little bit. But anyway, it's the best we can find for now. Jude 14 and 15. Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, and Jude is right before Revelation, prophesied about these men also saying, Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints. So that's the number rounded off. Ten thousands of His saints to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly, among them of all their ungodly deeds, which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him. So this is what the saints will be doing in the coming Kingdom. Revelation 5.10. We're quite familiar with that, but let's turn to Revelation 5 and verse 10. I'm sure it will probably hear this verse more than once during the feast. Revelation 5.10. And have made us kings and priests to our God, and we shall reign on the earth. So God's turning us into His royal Kingdom. And we're going to be kings and priests in the coming Kingdom, and in God's royal family. So as kings, we will rule under Jesus Christ, and as priests, we will teach people all of God's holy laws. We will teach them all of God's holy laws. Let's go to 1 Peter 2. 1 Peter 2. And let's look at verse 9. Let's not ever sell our calling short. Let's not ever get discouraged at the point of wanting to give up. Look how God is talking to us. This is how God considers us. 1 Peter 2.9. But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation. This is not the person sitting next to you. Yeah, it is the person sitting next to you, but it's you too. It's you too. A holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him, or give God the glory that is due Him, who calls you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Now, the word royal means kingly, like the kingly priesthood of God. And so the kingly priesthood of God will lead the way in proclaiming the praises of God. And praise means, in this case, the moral excellence of God. But just look at these names. Chosen generation, royal priesthood, holy nation, own special people. God has invested a lot in each one of us. This is God's great plan for each one of us. Now, the third point I have here is what will happen to all of the false idols of the earth? You know, God's going to be glorified, and Christ is going to have to get rid of all these religious objects that break the Second Commandment, that really break the Second Commandment. So what will happen to all of the false idols? And I've already mentioned, you know, Zechariah 13, too, they will be forgotten. Micah 5 lists several evil practices that will be eliminated. God will cut off the names of the idols. Now, will people miss all their idols at first?

And I would say probably so. If they've been steeped in, you know, false religious worship for all their lives, and they're just part of the next generation, their father was that way, grandfather, and so on, they may very likely miss for a while their idols. But very soon, their minds will begin to heal, and we read about this healing of the mind.

In Isaiah 30, Isaiah 30, and verse 22, Isaiah 30, and verse 22, and this follows the Scripture about, you know, your teachers, you know, you'll hear a word behind you saying, this is the way, walk you in it, that's verse 21, and it's a very inspiring Scripture. Verse 22, you will also defile the covering of your graven images of silver, and the ornament of your molded images of gold.

You will throw them away as an unclean thing, and you will say to them, get away. So they're going to, you know, despise and hate these pagan images. You know, years ago, my wife and I traveled to Turkey for the Feast of Tabernacles.

It was just one of those wonderful occasions, and we would, we visited all seven churches, well, what's left of them, you know, the seven churches of Revelation, the ruins of them. And we saw, and I think it was particularly Ephesus, but it was probably in other areas, so they had these open-air bazaars, and the local people were selling all kinds of things, and these local people of Ephesus were making a lot of money selling pagan images. You know, the image of Diana, the goddess of the Ephesians, was being sold, and other, I guess people thought they were going to be souvenirs, but we had, I mean, they were like tourists, we were just a little tiny group there, but they had tourists from all over probably the world, and they were just gobbling up, you know, gobbling up these pagan images, and they were making money on that.

Well, the day is coming. God's Church is going to be a part of this, helping people to throw them away as an unclean thing, and saying unto them, get away. Now, I want to take a look at one of the kings of Judah who teamed up with, you know, the good priesthood, and this king did exactly what we're seeing here, and so I see it as a type, as a small type. I mean, it was really a big deal in those days, but a small type of what life will be like those first few years in the Kingdom of God when we round up the pagan images that are really stopping people from glorifying God.

Now, let's turn to, first of all, 2 Chronicles. The king is Josiah. I think most of us are very familiar with his story. 2 Chronicles 34, verse 1. Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned 31 years in Jerusalem, and he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the days of his father David, and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

And in other words, his...and I didn't look this up, but David was his great-great-great-great-great-something-or-other grandfather. He was his great-great-great-great-grandfather. So he followed the ways of his great-great-great-great-great-grandpa. And, you know, today in the Church, we're getting...we're privileged to be dealing with third-generation Christians, fourth-generation Christians, and in the St. Louis area, we were privileged to ordain a man to the ministry who was a third-generation Christian.

That was very, very inspiring. He has four little boys, and so those four little boys are fourth-generation. How exciting is that? So we're seeing more and more of that, and my observation is... and again, Mr. Pirowas has got the goods on me, so he can verify this. He saw me that first day I pulled into church. And anyway, to me, these third- and fourth-generation Christians are just miles ahead of me where I was for a long, long time. Still are, probably. But just miles ahead of those that don't have the experience of father or mother, grandma, grandpa, who are following in the ways of God.

And this is what Josiah followed in the ways of his great-great-great-great-grandfather. For in the eighth year of his reign, he's 16 or 17 at this time, depending on when his birthday was, while he was still young, he began to seek the God of his father, David. He made a commitment to God at age 16 or 17.

And this is what he did to the pagan images. And he got...it was a two-step plan. Okay, step one, get rid of the images. Step two, glorify God. That was the two-step plan. Glorify God. So in the 12th year of his reign, that would be, he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the wooden images, the carved images, and the molded images. The place was a mess. They broke down the altars of the bales in his presence, and the incense altars, which were above them, he cut down, and the wooden images, and the carved images, and the molded images, he broke in pieces and made dust of them. To glorify God, he made dust out of the pagan images. And he scattered it on the graves of those who had sacrificed to them. He also burned the bones of the priests on the altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. And Christ is going to cleanse Judah and Jerusalem and the whole world in his coming kingdom. And he did so in the cities of Manasseh and Ephraim, Simeon, and as far as Nathalai, and all around with axes, or my marginal note here, my footnote here is with swords. So he chopped them up in the little pieces and made dust out of them. When he had broken down the altars and the wooden images, and had beaten the carved images into powder, and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem. So, you know, he had a plan. He had a great plan. Get rid of the pagan idols. Glorify great the great God. So we see here that these images become dust and powder, and that's chronicles. Let's go to 2 Kings 23 because that's the companion story here. 2 Kings 23.

And so, we will start in verse 3, because he wants to glorify God. So the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the Lord, to follow the Lord, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, with all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in the book.

And all the people took their stand for the covenant. And this, in so many words, is what we do at baptism. We not only ask God to forgive us and wash away our sins, but we dedicate the rest of our lives to him, in faith and in obedience to him. And the king commanded Helechiah, the high priest, and now we get the priest involved.

And he was the priest of the Second Order, doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of the Lord, which supposedly was the most holy place on the face of the earth, but to bring out of this now the articles that were made for Baal and Asherah, for all the hosts of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel. So you have these three powerful words when you look at both sections. Dust, powder, and ashes. That was what was left of the pagan idols.

Then he removed the idolatrous priests, of whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Judah and in the places all around Jerusalem. And those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, to the moon, to the constellations, to all the hosts of heaven, to the zodiac. And he brought out the wooden image from the house of the Lord, to the book, Brook Kidron, outside Jerusalem, and burned it.

Burned it at the Brook Kidron, and ground it to ashes, and threw its ashes on the graves of the common people. Rather, we're going to get to assist Jesus Christ to do this in a massive worldwide scale in the coming kingdom. Then he tore down the ritual booths of the perverted persons that were in the house of the Lord, where the women wove hanging for the wooden image.

And he brought all the priests from the cities of Judah and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense from Geba to Beersheba. He also broke down the high places at the gates, which were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua, the governor of the city, which were left of the city gate.

Verse 13 of this chapter. I do have a question. Sometimes we travel overseas at the feast, and we go to museums, and there's a certain place that if I ever get to go there, I don't think I'd want to visit the certain church building.

I just don't think I'd want to go there as part of a tour. That's just me. That was just my idea. So I don't think I'd want to do that. But my question is, how many museums of artifacts of religious objects will there be in the kingdom? Will we go to museums or former church buildings, pagan altar, whatever? Oh, well, that's interesting artwork. That's interesting whatever. Do you think that will be in the kingdom of God? Or do you think that all these historical sites that have this religious bent to them, this religious background to them, do you think they will be dust, powder, and ashes?

So I'll just think about it. The king defiled, verse 13, the high places that were east of Jerusalem, which were on the south of the Mount of Corruption, that's a terrible name, which Solomon, king of Israel, had built for these pagan gods, Asheroth, the abomination of the Sidonians, Chemosh, the abomination of the Moabites, and from Ilkom, the abomination of the people of Ammon. And he broke in pieces the sacred pillars and cut down the wooden images and filled their places with the bones of men.

Moreover, the altar that was at Bethel and the high place was Jeroboam, the son of Nebat, who made Israel's sin, had made both that altar and the high place, he broke down. And he burned the high place and crushed it to powder and burned the wooden image. So, Josiah did two things.

He turned all these things into dust, powder, and ashes, and then he recommitted himself to the law of God so that he and his subject could bring glory and honor to the great God. So, I believe this is an example, then, of what kings and priests, you and I, will be doing in the world tomorrow. Let's turn to John 4, and let's take a look at verse 24. Again, what a wonderful... how exciting this is going to be when the whole world will be able to enjoy this.

John 4, 24, God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and truth. Not just Spirit, but Spirit and truth. That is going to be one of the foundational scriptures that we're going to use in the coming Kingdom of God to teach people the right way to glorify God, to teach people the right way to worship Him.

Now, my next point in my notes is point 4. I have to warn you, whenever I give a point sermon, it doesn't match people's notes. I'm on point 4, you're on point 5. I'm on point 5, you're on point 3. So, it's the best I can do, but usually it doesn't match.

Don't worry about it. But the next point is, the question is, is there a practical application of this sermon for us now? As future kings and priests, is there a practical application of this sermon for us now? For us here and now. And yes, there is. Let's turn to Matthew 6 and verse 9.

Matthew 6 and verse 9.

So, Christ is telling us how to pray. In this manner, therefore, pray, our Father in heaven hallowed be your name. Let your name be held in great honor. Let your name be held in great dignity and in great glory. Now, how about our prayers? Do our prayers start out fervently with the gimmes? You know, give me this, give me that, give me something else. Or do we take some time to praise the great God? To praise the great God. To recognize Him as holy, and that we are sanctifying Him and setting Him apart for a sacred purpose.

Yes, dear brethren, our prayers must be, they must include this. They must be this way. Hallowing God's great name. I mean, what an honor it is just to be able to kneel before God. What an honor that is. Now, I know some people get to where they have bad knees and bad back, and they can't kneel anymore, but their heart is there, and God understands that. God understands that.

Now, down to verse 13. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Forever. Amen. So, Christ told us to start our prayers glorifying Him, and to end our prayers glorifying Him. God's is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. So, as future kings and priests, this is what we should be doing now. Let's turn to Psalm 145.

We say, I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait for the day we're going to be able to glorify God like this, as a world, and worship Jesus Christ, and see people bringing presence, the leading people bringing presence to Jesus Christ. Psalm 145, verse 1. I will extol you, my God, O King, and I will bless your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless you, and I will praise your name forever. Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable. You know, for a moment on King David, the man after God's own heart, David had a job, his job, you know, eight to five, maybe not eight to five, but his job was King of Israel, and he did a very good job. Yes, he sinned, but he did repent. But overall, he did a very good job as King of Israel. But that was just his job. His passion was the temple of God. He told God early in his King of Israel, he said, God, this isn't fair. I'm living in an sumptuous house, this glorious house built of cedar. You're living in a tent, you know, the tabernacle. That's not fair. I want to build you a temple. I want to build you a glorious temple so that you will be glorified and worshipped in this temple.

And God said, well, David, you're not going to do it. You're a bloody man. Now, you can prepare for it, but you're not going to build it. I'll leave that to your son Solomon. So David spent all of his life, the rest of his life, gathering gold, gathering silver, gathering materials, and making plans for this temple. He kept saying through the Psalms, I want to worship at your temple.

I want to glorify you. I want to honor you. That was David's passion all through the Psalms. And I'm sure some of them was thinking about the resurrection and God's eternal temple. But that was on his mind. How can I glorify God? How can I bring praise to God? How can I sing praises to God? He was quite a talented musician. And we sing his Psalms, at least the lyrics of the Psalms, to this day.

But he said, I'm going to create a glorious choir of Levites with instruments of music, and they're going to sing to God every single day. They're going to worship God and glorify His name. I forget how many trumpets. There was 150. There's a lot of trumpets at one time that was mentioned there in the Scripture, maybe more than once. But he was determined through musical instruments and through the voices of the Israelites, the Levites, that God's name would be praised. So his job, his vocation, king of Israel, his passion, building a temple of God so that God's name would be glorified.

That's what he really wanted to do, and we just see a glimpse of it right here. I know we all want to be a part of the family of God. We all want to be in the coming kingdom where we will spread the truth of the glory of God to the entirety of this world. Let's go to Revelation 5. I won't take the time to go through Revelation 4 and 5, but Revelation 4 talks about these great angelic beings who all they do is the four living creatures in Revelation 4 and 8, for example. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around them within, and they do not rest day or night saying, Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come.

And that's what they do. They praise God. Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor, verse 9, and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne. They just take off these incredible crowns and throw them before the throne of God the Father. You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they exist, and they were created.

You know, when we think about the greatness of God, and we only have a glimpse of it, it's an accurate glimpse, and it's a good glimpse, but it's only a start. But we're going to find out that eternity will not be long enough to exhaust all the ways that we will find that we can praise God. The more we find about His character, His righteousness, His power, His might, His majesty, it will take all eternity and still not be able to exhaust, praising Him and glorifying His holy name.

Revelation 5, 11. Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands. So there you go, the number of angels, again rounded, saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing, and every creature which is in heaven, and on earth, all the angelic hosts of heaven, and all the people on the earth, and under the earth, that are in the graves, they're going to come up in a resurrection.

And such as are in the sea, those that were lost at sea, will come up in the second resurrection. And all that are in them, I heard saying, blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be to Him, that would be the Father, of course, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.

Then the four living creatures said, Amen, and the twenty-four elders fell down, and worshipped Him, who lives forever and ever. I want to be a part of that family of God. I know you want to be a part of that family of God, and the coming Kingdom, who will spread the truth of God, the glory of God, to the entirety of this world. And just as Josiah smashed all the pagan idols, we too will assist Jesus Christ in abolishing false idols, and establishing, helping to establish, the true worship of God.

One final scripture, Revelation 22. Revelation 22. You know, before I comment on it, Nehemiah had this certain phrase. All the saints of God had certain phrases, but Nehemiah kept calling God the Great and Awesome. God, you're great and you're awesome. That was his way of addressing God. So we see in Revelation 22, verse 3, And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and the Lamb shall be in it, and his servants shall serve him.

Now, there's a couple of other ways of translating this verse. One translation is, there will be no longer any curse, and the throne of God and the Lamb will be in it, and his bond servants will serve him. And then there's another phrase, another translation I should say, where it simply says, His bond slaves will render him sacred service, rendering God sacred service. That is our job now, and that is going to be our job in the coming Kingdom, when we will make sure that the Great God and His Son Jesus Christ will be glorified.
