After Israel was removed from Egypt, they were told to Remember the day of their rescue AND that they had once been slaves.
We, too, are also told to remember our rescue, our rescuer, and that we have been freed from slavery to sin.
Doing so will help keep us humble and mindful of our God and His mercy as we continue on the journey to His kingdom.

Fred Crow is an elder with United Church of God; pastor of the Eureka and San Jose, California congregations. After 34 years, Fred retired from the aerospace industry in 2015. He and his wife Sue have two daughters and eight grandchildren. On the side, he wrote a newspaper column, taught scuba diving, was a published cartoonist; and he is a writer, photographer, and traveler.
