Who Is The Beast And The False Prophet?

We are in the Church. We know and we believe that we do live in the time of the end. And there's going to be many people giving false ideas of things about the time of the end. And one of them that people will start saying is, A, who is the beast? And people will start saying, well, the beast is the United States. So they'll say, and I've heard that. Others will say, the beast is Iran or whatever. But it is an important question that we do not be deceived and that we understand who is the beast and, in parallel with it, who is the false prophet.

So today I intend to go through that and talk a little bit about that and go through the scriptures and help you understand a bit more about it. A couple of months ago, I gave a sermon entitled, A General Prophetic Overview. And in that general prophetic overview, I presented a chart which you received then, the handouts. And if you go to that sermon, you can download it off the website, that handout, about specific things. And I mentioned that we still are in the face of the four horsemen. And I mentioned there are a number of things to watch before the abomination of desolation. And I highlighted a number of things to watch, specifically four geopolitical, two religious, and one basically as far as morality of society. And we can see those things today. Morality of society is going a very clear way. And unfortunately it's affecting a lot of people, including brethren. And it's time that we repent and change because time is super short. But there are two specific highlighted areas here that I want to emphasize. And that is the one about Europe uniting and 10 kings. And also about the false religious system that will be expanded related to the false prophet. Now, people say, well, but Europe is united, but this will be a different form of union that we will see. So today I want to talk a little bit about these two items, namely the beast and the false prophet and who they are, because it's easy to misunderstand who they are. Obviously it is a very complex type of subject. And I'm just going to give a generic overview. And in the handouts you've received, and I've got a few extra copies at the back on the literature table and where the cards are for you to sign for those people who are ill, I've got a few extra handouts for you available. But you received them in the form of a PDF with your bulletin this past weekend. Those that will be watching this on the web it will be also downloadable that handout that I'm referring to. The title of the handout will be the reign of the Gentile kingdoms. That will also be available for download on the web.

Why do I refer to it as the reign of Gentile kingdoms? Well, it's because from the moment that Judah went to captivity. That Judah went to captivity. And that means the nation of Israel ceased to be governed until this full independence at Christ returned. And therefore, we have now what the Bible genetically calls it the time of the Gentiles. And therefore, is what I put it in this in a chart that it's part of the handout and which I'll refer to a little later as the reign of Gentile kingdoms. In other words, this time since when Judah went to captivity and Babylon and until Christ returns. That is that section of the rule of the time of Gentiles. That section is basically given a very brief summary in Daniel 2. Daniel 2 is, think about it, is like the key. It's the key to understand this part of the Gentile kingdoms. And from Daniel 2, we get to Daniel 7 and Daniel 8 and Revelation 13 and Revelation 17. But Daniel 2 is like the key that opens the door to the others. If you don't understand Daniel 2, you are not going to get through to understand the others. And so this, Daniel 2, is, think about it, a comprehensive history in just a couple of verses, but an encapsulated very short summary of what's going to happen in these Gentile kingdoms until Christ's return from when Judah went into captivity. So this is from about 600 BC until present date. So we're talking about over about 2600 years, a period of that sort of length.

Now, Daniel 2 therefore gives us that general overview or general structure, and it gives you the development of these Gentile kingdoms and how they will develop or proceed from one to the other, from the head to the feet and toes. Therefore, one has to understand that it is one statue. When you look at Daniel 2, you know it's that statue of Nebuchadnezzar that he saw, that dream, and the feet are part of that statue. You can't say the feet now belong to some other different statue. It's got to be part of that statue. There's a continuity from the head all the way down to the feet.

And that's why it is important to understand that clear progression, and therefore there's a continuity. And that's why that will help you to identify who is the beast and the false prophet. That is very important. And it is one of the key principles of understanding Bible prophecy. Daniel 2. It's not only one. A couple of weeks ago, I gave a sermon as well about who Israel and Judah are.

And in that sermon, I entitled the promises to Abraham. That is very important to understand who Israel and Judah are today. Because if you don't understand that, you get confused. So it's all ties in. And so today, I'm moving on to Daniel chapter 2. So let's just open our Bibles in Daniel chapter 2.

And it's talking about Yah right at the beginning, starting in verse 32, because it's giving a little bit of an interpretation of this image that was in Nebuchadnezzar's dream. And then starting from verse 31-32, it says, you king, you are watching and behold a great image. And then in verse 32, it says, this image head was of fine gold, fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, and its legs of iron, and its feet, partly iron and partly clay. We can see at the beginning there are four kingdoms, four kingdoms that are defined right here. And these four kingdoms tie together to four types of metal. In other words, gold, silver, bronze, and iron.

And so these four types of metal represent four great empires that would come prophetically at that time. And the first one was Nebuchadnezzar, and as he says, you are the head of gold. Because it says here in verse 37, still in Daniel 2, it says, you, king, are a king of kings, for the God of heaven has given you a kingdom of power, strength, and glory. And wherever the children of man dwell, or the beasts of the field, and the birds of the heaven, he has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all, you are this head of gold. You are this head of gold. And so this empire, this Babylonian empire, also referred to as the Chaldean empire, is the head from which all the others flow.

All the others flow. And that is a key clue to this time of the Gentiles, a very important clue.

The head of gold, therefore, is Babylon. I'll give you there the dates, but in the years 600 or so before Christ. And Babylon then was destroyed by the Medes and Persians. And it says, then also there in Daniel 2 verse 32, Daniel 2 verse 32, and this image, verse 32, and this image's head was of gold, and its chest, and arms of silver, and the belly, and thighs of bronze. And so we have the Medes and Persians, which is the silver, as we can see in this verse 32 that I read you. And this also ties with Daniel 5. If you go into Daniel 5 and you see when the writing on the wall was done, and that's when Babylon crashed over that night, and then the Medes and Persians took over. And you can read that in Daniel 5. That was around about the years 500 or so before Christ, and they lost for about 200 years. So that was the Persian Empire that followed.

If we look at the prophecy in Isaiah 44, and let's just briefly read Isaiah 34 verse 28 through 45 verse 1, it says, who says of Cyrus, who is my shepherd? Now understand, this prophecy in Isaiah was written about 160 years before Persia came to power. And it says, in names the leader of the Persian Empire, which was not the first leader, but it came up next. Cyrus says, he's my shepherd, and he shall perform all my pleasure, saying to Jerusalem, you shall be built, and to the temple your foundation shall be laid. And so as we know, then it continues here in verse 1 of 45, thus says the Lord of his anointed to Cyrus, whose right hand I have held to sub-Jew nations before him, and loosed the armor of kings, and to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut. And so there is a prophecy out that Persia, which today is Iran, but Persia would allow, under Cyrus the king, allow the Jewish people to go back and to rebuild the temple and Jerusalem. And that was, as we know in other scriptures, it was after 70 years, and exactly it happened. In fact, there are three different groups of 70 years, which is another subject that I'll cover in another day, but that is very important to understand. Its prophecy was fulfilled, and they went back to that area 70 years later. So that was Cyrus, the king of Persia, that opened up that possibility. And so we have Babylon, the head of gold, and then we have the Medes and Persians came up afterwards. And you can also read the story of Esther. Remember the story of Esther? And the story of Esther is that she, that after the Cyrus had allowed some of them, and some of them went back to Jerusalem, but you read the story of Queen Esther, that she then God intervened through her to protect the Jewish nation, because Satan had inspired a plot to actually utterly destroy the Jewish nation. So that is all a part of interesting history, and those things that brethren, what I'm covering as generic is an overview, and you need to do your own study using, maybe reviewing the sermon later on, and study it more deeply. Then after that, after that we got Alexander the Great, and you know history. Alexander the Great was a great leader, and he swept through Europe very quickly, but he soon died. So he brought in the Greek culture to the European area. So we can see that empire that started in Babylon, moving to Persia, now moving to Greece. So it's moving westwards. And we can see, then it says that the Alexander the Great, that is the Bronze Empire. So that came up in the years 300 or so before Christ.

That Greek empire, then after Alexander's death, it split into four kingdoms, north, south, east, and west, but the two prominent ones, because the east and west kind of became just about very small and not of historic value. But the two major ones that preceded or took charge in that area was one called the King of the North, that is from that Greek empire, and one the King of the South. Now we've got a booklet entitled The Middle East in Bible Prophecy, and it covers this in great depth. And this is explaining the scriptures in Daniel 11, because Daniel 11 gives practically the most detailed, prophetic, historic background of what happened between the wars between the King of the North and the King of the South. The King of the North and the King of the South. And you can see in Daniel 11 that those continue till the time of the end, till Christ's coming. So we're talking about an European development, King of the North and King of the South, and therefore that is again another important clue of where those kingdoms are. Because as we read through it, you'll realize that out of the King of the North, it'll come what today is called the Beast.

So it is in that European area. Then, as far as that, that northern Greek kingdom became predominant, and that Greek kingdom, which was the Bronze, then was overcome by the Roman Empire. And the Roman Empire is described as that iron part of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, that statue in Daniel 2. So that was the Roman Empire that came up to about 31 years before Christ, till about over 470-odd years after Christ.

So it lasted some nearly 500 years. So it lasted for a long time, that Roman Empire. Now this is also important because where was the Roman Empire, geographically speaking? And because the continuation now is from there to the legs and to the toes, which is a continuation of that Roman Empire, as we'll see a little later. So we have Babylon the head. That Babylon head, a lot of the characteristics, because it's called a lot of these characteristics, continued throughout the whole, the other kingdoms.

The financial, particularly the financial and the religious system, continued from Babylon through the other kingdoms. And it talks about even in Revelation 18 verses 11 through 13. So let's look at Revelation 18, verse 11 through 13, Revelation 18. In Revelation 18, in verse 11, we read about the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her. And then in verse 13, at the end, it says, and they will, or merchants, and they will deal in the bodies and souls of men. In other words, they will have great corruption in trade of human beings. And we can see that happening today, particularly with children and with girls and ladies.

It's great trades going on of human beings. It's really a sad system. So that system has propagated and has gone down, and therefore it's running to the system that exists today across the world. That Babylonian system is still predominant today. So we have here a spirit, an attitude, a mindset that is filtered down, all the way down from Babylon, all the way down to today.

And this is important to understand because it's part of the image of Daniel 2, because that gives you that key flow of that system. The handouts that are sent to you, you probably can't read everything here, but you've received it, and I've got extra handouts at the table today. It lists those different scriptures with the different meaning. The one on the left is Daniel 2, and then after that we got Daniel 7, and then we got Daniel 8, and then we got Revelation 13, and then you got Revelation 17, and then the interpretation and the meaning of those. So it's a very detailed explanation that helps you to flow it through from one to the other.

So what do we have is in Daniel 2, we can see, and as you please do your own Bible study using this aid with the chart, you will see that Daniel 2 is directly related to Daniel 7. Daniel 2 as a flow to Daniel 7, as you can see on that handout.

Then we can see the lion, which is the head of gold, in Daniel 7 he's represented as a lion, and then we see the bear as the silver, and then you see the leopard as the bronze, but we know that the leopard has four heads, right? And then we see the fourth kingdom, that is the Roman kingdom, which is a terrible kingdom like no other it's been before, and the head is strong as iron. So you can see that relation between Daniel 2 and Daniel 7.

Then we also see in Daniel 7 that talks about 10 horns, in other words 10 resurrections of that kingdom that will follow, 10 resurrections. And if you look at it, you've got the first two heads, which is gold and silver, and then you have the Greek kingdom that became four heads, and then later you got the seventh of iron, so you actually have a total of seven heads, which then has 10 resurrections, which are the 10 horns. So that handout helps you a lot to kind of map these Bible descriptions carefully. And then we see that the lost, the beast, which is that the Roman Empire, some 400 years after Christ, suffered a mortal wound.

We can see that in Revelation 13. We can see in Revelation 13 when it's talking about the beastia in verse 3, and it says, and I saw one of his heads, as it had been mortally wounded, and that is the Roman Empire. In other words, the Roman Empire then ceased, and but it was healed, and the whole world marveled, and that's the double meaning, because there'll be resurrections, but it will be healed at the time of the end, at the very time of the end, where it's talking about the 10 toes.

So it was healed. So there's that continuity, and that is important to understand to place where the beast is geographically and as far as nations around the world. And so it was a mortally wounded, and therefore the relationship, therefore we can see then as we get to the point of Revelation 13, then we get to the point that there are now two beasts, but at the in Daniel 7, you can see that amongst those horns, there is a tiny horn that comes up.

There's a tiny horn that comes up, and that ties in to a religious group that comes out of this resurrected Roman Empire, a religious group, a church from Rome, a Roman church.

And then we can see that there is this woman appears in the scene after the plucking of the first three horns. So there are three horns out of those ten, you know, ten resurrections.

They come one after the other, and three of them are plucked out. Now those three that were plucked out were of the religious background called Arianism. Now you might know what Arianism is, but Arianism is the concept of believing that Jesus was a created being, either from Michael or another angelic being. So they say, well, there was a concept that Jesus was a created being.

At the same time, there was another idea being developed in that Roman area called the Trinity. And therefore there was a conflict between Arianism, those that believed in Arianism, and those that believed in the Trinity. And therefore those that believed in Arianism were pulled out, and that little horn came out, which is the Roman church, which then proclaimed the Trinity. So that is all prophetic, and it fits beautiful when you start understanding this clearly. And so we can see in Revelation 17 that from Revelation 17 it talks about the woman, which we know it represents a church, and which rides on the beast. But that woman obviously only comes onto the scene after the Roman Empire has had a mortal wound. Then there are three resurrections that are plucked out, and so that woman only rides the beast on the last seven horns or resurrections. So you can see that woman, that beast, a religious one, because there's two beasts in Revelation 13, as I'll show you just now. One is a state, and the other one is a church.

So the church only comes in, that Roman church, only comes in after the three horns of Arianism. Those ideologies of Arianism are pulled out, and then Trinity takes over from there onwards. So this all ties in with Revelation, because what we see in Revelation, it talks about a white horse, and that white horse, as we know, it's a false religion and false Christ. And it says, man will come in Christ's name. Now understand the word Christ is equated to the word Messiah, so it'll be various messiahs, and that means religious leaders or political leaders, because there are some political leaders that back themselves up behind religion or certain ideologies, and using religion, they or ideology, they put themselves as the leader that is going to save the country, or is going to resolve all the problems in the country, and things like that. So we have what we call false messiahs, false Christ. And we also tie in to 1 Corinthians 11. So let's look at that. 2 Corinthians 11. 2 Corinthians 11.

And we read in verse 13 through 15. It says, 2 Corinthians 11. Let's get there. I was in 1 Corinthians. 2 Corinthians 11. 13-15. For such are false apostles, false ministers, false leaders, deceived deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. So yeah, in Corinthians, it's specifically talking about religious leaders. But in a generic sense, this white horse implies not only religious leaders, but physical leaders of nations that put themselves into positions as if they are the ones that are going to resolve all the problems. Quote-unquote, vote for me and I'll get everything done. And regrettably, there's a lot of good and bad mixed quite often with these. So that's why there is deception. So this first seal of the seven seals of the book of Revelation is open, which is the white horse. Now, that white horse clearly is not Christ, it's false religion and false ideologies. But remember that once a seal is open, it remains open, it is not closed, it remains open till Christ's coming. And so this false ideology, false religion, will continue all the way till Christ's return will continue. So it's not something that happens and then when there is the abomination of desolation, then it stops. No, it continues with false religion. And that false religion is symbolized by specifically the one of Daniel 7, that little horn. If we look again at Daniel, Daniel, and we look at Daniel chapter 7, and let's look at the last verse, Yah in Daniel 7 verse 8, the last verse that I quote there on the slide. In Daniel 7 verse 8, it reads, And I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little horn, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there in this horn were the eyes of a man and a mouth speaking pompous words. That is religion, speaking pompous words, or a leader speaking pompous words, but this specific one is a religious leader. Now, if you follow that up on the same chapter, that's Daniel 7 in verse 25. Daniel 7 verse 25, it says, He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Brethren, what happened when this little horn came up?

When this little horn came up, you'll know there was a time of the Council of Laodicea, and this Council changed the seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday, and changed Passover on the 14th to Easter Sunday. And so, it says, He shall intend to change times and the law. And you can see that was prophetic. And the saint shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and oftentimes. In other words, that is double meaning. There will be for 1,260 years, but also for three and a half years at the very time of the end, which we'll look at that a little bit more in a moment. And so, this little horn is basically this false religion coming up and will influence the beast power.

It will ride the beast power, as we can see the woman riding the beast in Revelation 17.

All right, so...

Okay, there we are. So, this chart now shows you the time there of the Roman Empire. You can see that the Roman Empire and the time that it rained, which is from... Let me just have a look that I got correct here, which is 31 BC to 476 AD. So, it rained during that period. And then, we have during the period of the Roman Empire, there was a council nisaya. Sorry, I said, councilor, a little while before I should have said council nisaya, in 325 AD. And that council nisaya is the one that changed the Sabbath to Sunday and made it a law. That was in 325 and 1260 years from that brings us to the year 1844. And let me just make sure I've got... no, 1500 or so, 1535 or so. I can't quite see the handout from here, but the slide. But anyway, that was 1260 years. And at that time is when the Protestant Reformation started, starting, therefore, the release of that hold of the Catholic Church on some of those beliefs that the Catholic Church had over the Church of God, and also allowing a lot more freedom for the Church of God to spread and be able to do the work at the same time. Then we know also then after that, there was the Council of Constantinople about some 30 or 50 years later, which was in... let me just see 300 and I can't quite see the area, but 351, I think that's what it says there. And that's when they changed and made Trinity a law. So the... even though they wanted to impose Trinity, they didn't quite agree with it in the Council of Nicaea, and that was only resolved in the Council of Constantinople some years later. And then... and we can see there those Aryan kingdoms, which are made reference to you. Those are the three that were plucked out. And then from that time, then we get the... in the year 554, that's when they were plucked out. The Roman Catholic Church and the Papacy... the Papacy became, let's call the image of the Roman Empire type of government, and that then continued for 1260 years from 554 all the way till when that the deadly wound was healed, which was when the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved, and so closed a government that dated from Augustus Caesar. So that kind of ties in those 1260 days, which is... or 1260 years, which is both a religious count of 1260 years, and also a a governmental count of 1260 years. So those are two different dates, but both for a period of 1260 years. So that's all covered in the handout, and so this handout then shows a little bit more towards the end of the handout that that I have. But understand that Revelation 13 then talks about that which was written... the book of Revelation was written by John around about the year 90, was inspired for him to write it in about the year 90, and then he talks about that deadly wound, but also Revelation 13 talks about two beasts in the first few verses of Revelation 13, and let me turn now to Revelation 13.

In Revelation 13, we can see from verse 1 to verse 10 it's talking about the beast from the sea, and that is a state, a political beast, which is what we normally call the beast.

And then from verse 11 till the end of the chapter talks about another beast, which is a religious beast which has two horns like a lamp and spoke like a dragon, and he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And there it says, and this beast is a religious entity which we also call the false prophet, and it will ride, and that false church that will ride, will control, will influence the beast which is the government to come up. And so then what we have is a situation here that this in Revelation 17, which talks about this woman in Revelation 17, which is the scarlet woman, Revelation 17 verses 1 through 3. It says it's a great olive, and then it says it rides the beast. And so we can with this chart, it's very helpful. I understand that what I'm talking about is rather complicated, but I'm just trying to give you an overview, and you need this handout to actually help you. And this is the handout that basically Mr. Armstrong many years ago was inspired to understand and put it together. Because you know in Daniel 12, if I remember correctly, it's verse 9, it says those at the time of the end will understand it. And then at that time, it came to be understood how to put all these scriptures together in a logical sense. So this is the chart that you have, so please use it. And then we have the bottom part here. We can see of the chart that the 1260 years of the church, that's the second half there of Revelation 13. You can see the church, the 1260 years, that is from when the Catholic church came into power until the end of the reign of Napoleon, which then he was at the end of in 1814. So then we have that section there when the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved. That's the 1260 years that I'm highlighting there, which is again on your handout for you to look at it.

Now there's something very interesting here on Revelation, and it says in Revelation 17 and in verse 10. So let's just read Revelation 17 verse 10. It says, there are also seven kings, five have fallen, one is, and another is here to come. Now you can see this has to apply to a very specific time when five have fallen, one is, and one is to come. That's when Muslim Strong came to realize and understand this, because the one that he is is that six head ridden by the woman, ridden by the church, which was basically the combinations of first Italy with Mussolini and then Germany, Hitler, and that was between the years 1922 and 1945. And it was during that period that Muslim Strong came to understand this. And so that is very pertinent to that time. Today that head is no more. Now we're waiting for the seventh head, which is going to be a revived Roman Empire ruled by 10 rulers under one leader. That's the Tysine to the 10 toes of Daniel 2. And so we can see that progression of the statue of Daniel 2, that it all ties in into one statue. There is a continuity from the head all the way to the toes. We also show you that the Roman Empire has had these, will have these seven resurrections, right? But the last one will be particularly different, because it says here in verse 11 of Revelation 17 verse 11, the beast that was and is not, is himself also the eighth, and he's of the seven. It's of these seven resurrections. Yes, it's of the seventh resurrection, but it says it's also the eighth, because the first one was the actual Roman Empire that collapsed. So there's these seven resurrections, yeah, and it's of the eighth, because of the original Roman Empire. So it all fits in very clearly. And so what do we have?

We have a religious power through the first seal that influences and creates, what, a lot of wars. And the result of those wars, we get the red horse. There are wars, and we can see that even today. That's still riding today, those wars. And then from those wars, we get the black horse. And the black horse is famine, because when there's wars, there's going to be famine, there's going to be lack of food, there's going to be destruction. And then finally, there's a pale horse, which is death. And with that death, which talks about death in Hades and the grave, and because of those, people will die. And it also talks about earthquakes and things with the weather and things like that. So it really is all tied together. So in Matthew 24, which is Christ's explanation, very summarized of this, it also ties in to this, because it says, these are but the beginnings of sorrows. And it says, men will be offended. And we've got to be careful how we treat one another, people getting offended and things like that. There'll be many false religions, that's the white horse. And then it says, then it says that in verse 12, and then because Lorna is well abound, you know, the love of many will wax cold. We got to be careful that when we see all this thing, that our love and care for the brethren does not wax cold. And then, but we have to endure to the end. We have to remain faithful to the end, brethren, and God will intervene for us. And then we got this gospel, this good news that we are preaching, is being preached to the whole world as a witness. Yes, it's going out as a witness. Many people are not repenting. Many people are not coming to the church, but the gospel is being preached as a witness. That is being done. And therefore, then it gets to the point that when the abomination of desolation comes, then we got Daniel 12, and then we got another phase. But today's purpose was to really focus on those things that are building up of the beast and the false prophet, and to show you that the beast will be a revived Roman empire like the old Rome.

Really will be vicious, and it will be based in Europe. And so that is important for us to understand. And so I want you to just turn now, as I conclude, to 2 Peter chapter 3, 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9 through 11. 2 Peter chapter 3 verse 9 through 11. It says, But the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is long suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance. Brethren, if we are lukewarm, if we are just warming up a seat in church, if we are not taking things seriously, if we have a lot of problems, please don't look at the others. Look at yourselves. It says, examine yourselves and repent. Come to repentance. Come to repentance. Stop pointing fingers to others. Look at yourself. And then it says in verse 10, For the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, which evans will pass away. This day of the Lord is very encompassing, because it's this whole period in this context here. It's this whole period from the time when Christ starts intervening after the heavenly signs all the way till the end when everything will be utterly destroyed. That's the time of judgment that is going to be over a considerable amount of time, well over a thousand years. And then it says, verse 11, and this is the verse I want to focus.

Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, brethren, there's going to be a judgment.

Don't be deceived. There's no judgment. There will be a judgment. You and I, all individually, will be judged. We cannot stand in front of Christ and say, oh well, it's so and so's fault. You, today, were given an explanation that using the chart as a handout that Muslim Strong developed many years ago, and that we stand by, which is the truth once delivered to the saints, let us hold on to that. And brethren, let us make sure that we are not deceived, but that we work on making sure that we are conducting ourselves in holiness and godliness.
