A little over 2,000 years ago the archangel Gabriel came to Mary and told her she was going to have a baby boy, who she would call Jesus Christ, our anointed Saviour.  (Luke 1:31-33)

“Mary was very surprised by this news”, says Nanna. “Mary asked how can this be, since I am not married?  Gabriel told her that she would have Jesus by God’s Holy Spirit entering her, which would be the Son of God”.  (Luke 1:34-38)
