Look Outward Together
In marriage, two people decide to live together for the remainder of their lives. They build their nest and focus on making it a home (Ecclesiastes 3:12).
Then when children come, they begin to realize that true goals in life exist outside the home. The two forge plans for how they will raise their family and make their community a better place. That is when they look outward together and make plans for a future that includes others. That is where love matures and flourishes.
