The Feast was held using our church facility and grounds perched high on a hillside, providing a panoramic view of Lake Victoria and several distant islands.

There were 231 Duolua-speaking brethren who enjoyed eight days of rejoicing and relishing in the spiritual and physical food that was provided. A hired team of cooks looked after all the delicious meals, which were enjoyed together. The daily morning services were followed by activities, Bible studies and a family day.

Guest speakers included senior pastor Monte Knudson, pastor Harrison Kioko and pastor Kriphas Ongori. Monte Knudson and the local pastor Joel Owuoti baptized 10 people at a beautiful beach on Lake Victoria. 

The challenges we had included hot, sunny weather, while some of our members were drenched by heavy rain in the old tents they were staying in. The brethren were very thankful for the support we received from our international brethren. 

All rejoiced at the Feast, and we were sad to depart from one another at the end of the Eighth Day.
