2019 Feast of Tabernacles

Cape Coast, Ghana

Over 300 brethren from eight congregations across the country came together at the Ghana National Association of Teachers Hall to celebrate the Feast. Guests Darell and Janet Keisel from the United States, attending their seventh straight Feast in Ghana, as well as Abigail and Lita from The Netherlands who were visiting for the first time, provided a much appreciated international touch. David Meselebe, regional pastor for Ghana, set the tone on the opening night by highlighting the essence of our convocation and God’s invitation to us to draw close to Him.

With a high attendance of 313 people, the subsequent days saw a good mix of inspiring messages on our participation in the work preparatory to the coming Kingdom of God. Darrell Keisel’s marriage seminar in the middle of the Feast, the interspersed special music presentations, Bible quiz and a children’s Bible study were all very enriching indeed. In the midst of good tropical rains and alternating bursts of heart-warming sunshine, opportunities for fellowshipping abounded in the various recreational and fun packages such as indoor games, goat barbecue, canopy walk-way and an educational visit to a slave castle.

The spirit of giving, care, warmth, bonding and camaraderie unmistakably bore through it all. The generosity of our United States brethren was a blessing in providing some communal meals and other services which enhanced our over-all experience. The Feast in Cape Coast was truly a blessing and a joy to come before God in obedience to learn.
