We welcome campers ages 5-15. We also encourage attendance from those ages 16-18 and regard them as junior volunteers. Junior volunteers are assigned responsibilities to teach them leadership and service skills, but are also provided with their own activity schedule.

Christian living lessons are a key component to each day’s schedule. Each year a theme is chosen to reflect our goals in building righteous character. We often focus on God’s creation and have built many lessons around Deuteronomy 23:14: “For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp . . . therefore your camp shall be holy.”

Camp Wildrose features many activities each year, including archery, canoeing, outdoor survival, various sports, arts and crafts, map reading or compass work, cooking, team building and field games.

Each evening ends in a fireside gathering with snacks and activities. Three highlights of our time together are the Friday evening family dance before sunset, church services and Bible activities on the Sabbath, and the family picnic complete with old-fashioned games on Sunday afternoon.

The unique thing about our camp is that entire families attend, from grandparents to little babies. Everyone helps out and does their part to make the camp a very special family experience. Our relationships and love grow stronger, as we work, play, learn and laugh together.
