The Best Computer?
"Man is the best computer," Wernher von Braun, the noted rocket scientist, said. Then he added in jest, "and the only one that can be mass-produced with unskilled labor."
Humans are not born with skill, but they are born with potential. It is in the development of this potential that the ability to surpass a computer can be found. The human mind is a marvel—but it needs to be trained and kept up-to-date.
Learning ought to be a joyful experience that does not stop as long as we live. The human mind can continue to improve and mature long after the body shows signs of old age—if we let it. Along with your normal learning experiences, do not neglect the most important learning of all—that of seeking God and His purpose for your life. This is what truly sets us apart from computers—no matter how fast or intelligent they become.
