What We May Have Missed

John 3:16 is the most widely recognized New Testament Scripture. It has been termed "the golden text of the Bible", "the gospel in a nutshell", and "everyman's text". We see it at football games, on billboards, in greeting cards and just about every other imaginable place. 

Its message is central and profound: God loves the world. So much so that He did what no Father does—at least not willingly—He gave His only Son. 

But What Have Most Missed, and Why does it Matter?
