Standing in His Presence -- Grace, Sacred Space and God’s Dwelling with Humanity

We know what grace is not — not a license, not a transaction. But asked what it is, many of us reach for "unmerited pardon" and stop there. Beginning at Mount Sinai with Moses in the cleft of the rock, this message traces grace through the Hebrew scriptures to John's Gospel: a standing God grants that cannot be earned, acts of loyal love that never stop coming, and a place in His presence where we are transformed. Because of His grace, we are allowed into His presence.  How we guard and protect His presence communicates how much we love and respect Him and our desire to remain in it.
