Because of our sinful nature, we are separated from God. When God begins to work with us, our minds are opened to His existence and His way. Upon conversion, repentance, and baptism, we begin a process that initiates a personal journey with Jesus Christ. We must take up our cross, put our former life behind us, and follow Christ. We then begin the process of sanctification and the journey into the Kingdom of God.
