HOUSING INFORMATION

BACKGROUND:

Located in the lovely town of Évian-les-Bains on the shores of beautiful Lake Geneva, the VVF Village offers a comfortable and enjoyable location for families and friends to come together to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. The resort has many great locations to fellowship and enjoy one another’s company, including a spacious bar area with a large fireplace and a terrace that wraps around the building and offers a beautiful view of the lake. Constructed in the 1960’s, the VVF Village was built as an affordable getaway for families to go on vacation together. Being as such, the rooms at the resort tend to be smaller than your typical North American hotel room. Use the link below to look at some pictures of the resort:

ROOM DESCRIPTION:

All rooms are in the form of small apartments that contain a kitchenette. Nicely remodeled, the rooms typically have two single beds while others have a large double bed, and a single bed. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms. Rooms have individual heating units, but no air conditioning. The bathrooms are small and contain a shower only. Hair dryers are not provided in the rooms, so please bring your own. Some rooms have a separate locked bedroom and adjoining bathrooms with a common area kitchen and dining area, allowing for two families to share an apartment, while still maintaining privacy.

The kitchenettes have a sink, small refrigerator, microwave oven, and stove top. They are typically stocked with plates and utensils for a family of four along with table and chairs.

There is no Wifi in the rooms, but Wifi is available in the main conference center a short walk from the apartments.

Most rooms will have a small balcony or patio with chairs

Sheets and towels will be changed twice during your stay, and the room will be cleaned once during your stay.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS:

Rooms will be assigned based on family size. In addition, please complete the survey request link in your Shopify payment account under "Accommodations" where you can request to be lodged near other family or friends, as well as request a room mate.

Handicapped housing is available.

HOUSING COST:

The Feast in France is all-inclusive and the cost includes nine nights lodging from check-in on Sunday, September 23 to check-out on Tuesday, October 2 and includes dinner on Sunday evening, September 23, breakfast, lunch and dinner from September 24 to October 1 and breakfast on October 2. Due to our contract terms, we cannot offer pricing for fewer days.

The cost for this all-inclusive package is as follows:

• Adults 16 years and older - Two people lodging together:  €620 per person
• Adults 16 years and older - One person lodging alone €740 per person.
• Teens 12 to 15 years old - €540 per person
• Children 4 to 11 years old - €415 per person
• Children 2 to 3 years old - €305 per person
• Children under two years old - Free

PRE-FEAST HOUSING:

For those wishing to stay at the resort for the Sabbath before the Feast, we have a limited number of rooms available on a first-come, first-serve basis (based on payment through the Shopify payment account). The room package will include dinner on Friday evening, September 21, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Sabbath, September 22 and breakfast and lunch on Sunday, September 23. The cost for this all-inclusive weekend package is as follows:

• Adults 16 years and older - Two people lodging together:  €155 per person
• Adults 16 years and older – One person lodging alone €170 per person.
• Teens 12 to 15 years old - €140 per person
• Children 4 to 11 years old - €120 per person
• Children 2 to 3 years old - €90 per person
• Children under two years old - Free

If you would like to stay at the resort after the Feast, you may contact the resort directly for pricing and availability. We are not organizing any special group pricing after the feast.

Note: An English-language church service will be held at the VVF Resort in Évian-les-Bains the Sabbath before the Feast, September 22 at 2:30 pm in the main auditorium. Even if you aren't staying at the VVF Resort before the Feast, we look forward to seeing visitors at Sabbath Services who arrive early for the Feast.
