We are very excited to be using Wisconsin Dells as a venue for the 2019 Feast of Tabernacles. The Dells’ scenic beauty serves to highlight the handiwork of our Creator and enhance the observance of this special time of year. Outdoor activities like golf, hiking, touring the local waterways in the famous “Ducks,” and many others, give people the opportunity to experience this beauty firsthand. In addition to these outdoor options, the Dells is home to numerous indoor water parks, which are unparalleled among amusement parks anywhere in the world. Wisconsin Dells has a long history as a destination that provides many enjoyable family attractions to suit a variety of interests.

This year’s activity schedule will include a “Family Game Night” so plan on bringing your favorite family-friendly board and card games. There will be general Bible studies in addition to the prepared sermons for the week. This year we will be holding services once again in the Wintergreen Resort and Conference Center. This venue provides plenty of seating, a level floor plan instead of a sloping theater style, is brightly illuminated and parking is conveniently located next to the facility. The Wisconsin Dells Feast site is also well known for its inspiring instrumental and vocal music. Housing is plentiful with a variety of properties including ultra-modern themed resorts with elaborate indoor water parks and multi-family and single-family condominiums. There are also homes and cottages available for rent near several of the nearby lakes and rivers, or in the woods. Traditional style motels offer an exceptional value with several offering access to the larger indoor water parks. All establishments require a housing deposit, and cancellation policies vary so be sure to ask about them when making reservations. Most accommodations are within a few minutes’ drive of the Wintergreen Resort. Whatever your housing needs are, you will find a property to suit your budget!

The Madison, Wisconsin, airport is an hour from the Dells, the Milwaukee airport is two hours away, and Chicago O’Hare is three hours away. The weather can vary from beautiful autumn weather to cooler, crisper temperatures.

Taxes: the Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area is considered a Premier Resort Area. Therefore, 6.75% sales tax is charged on most purchases and 12.25% tax on lodging accommodations (Wisconsin Dells Visitor Information Centers).
