Every year at the Feast we make an effort to meet new people, and we also reconnect with people we already know—our friends and spiritual family. God guides us at the Feast to connect in our relationships with our brethren and with Him.
This year many of us connected with our friends and spiritual family at various United Church of God Feast of Tabernacles sites around the world. In this issue of United News there are articles summarizing the wonderful times experienced at our UCG festival sites.
The reports are arranged by region, beginning on page 3 in the printed version of the United News. And there is a full-color photo centerfold beginning on page 13. If you would like to see these photos that were published—as well as many more that we did not have room for—please see the United Church of God Flickr page at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/united-church-of-god/albums/72157665995179429 .
Adding to this sense of unity through connections, the Church ran the same hashtag campaign as last year across social media sites, encouraging Feastgoers to post photos using #ucgfot. You can still search #ucgfot on your favorite social media website to see the vast array of photos (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
Once again, the millennial spirit was felt amongst the brethren at the Feast as they fostered new and old relationships as one Body in Christ and rejoiced in the foretaste of the return of our Elder Brother Jesus Christ and His rule on this earth.
May God’s Kingdom come quickly.
