Why do you do what you do? Always be ready to answer that question. Mr. Hall discusses this subject explaining that in order to always be ready with an answer we have to be living according to God's truth. He gives the analogy of always being R.E.A.D.Y. by respecting others, exemplifying Christ, asking questions, depending on the bible & yielding to God and His holy spirit.

I was baptized in mid 70's and fell away from God into severe sin do I need to be baptized again to be forgiven of all my sin? I pray and read my bible ever day after amputation of my right leg above the knee. I found out quick I must completely turn to God. Can you help?

Hi Jerry, I'm so sorry to hear of your health trial, but certainly encouraged that you are once again seeking God. Honestly, this is going to be a personal decision. If you believe your first baptism was valid (fully immersed, you repented of your sins, and you had hands laid on you -- https://www.ucg.org/bible-study-tools/bible-questions-and-answers/do-i-need-to-be-re-baptized), then perhaps not, but if those things are not true, then you may need to be rebaptized. You may want to speak with a pastor that can help you answer these questions. You can find the pastor closest to you at https://www.ucg.org/congregations
