This holy day, the Feast of Trumpets, pictures the realization of the prophesied Day of the Lord, when Jesus Christ will return to this earth. When the promised events of this day are finally fulfilled, Jesus Christ will have achieved THREE astounding rescue missions. He will rescue His people from the captivity of death, humanity from complete annihilation, and the descendants of Jacob from physical captivity.
