Through God’s “Trees of Life”, which example His Eternal Approach to Life, God our Father and Jesus Christ provide access to those God chooses for His Family NOW.
Sermon Notes
INTRO: The miracle of Life from God (not mere temporal “life” as we humans know it) was offered in the Garden of Eden, and will be given in the Kingdom of God on earth. The concept of a place where one can go to obtain Life from God starts in the beginning of God’s Word and continues throughout. The “Trees of Life” in God’s Word bear the Fruit of God’s Life-Giving Spirit.
BENEFIT STATEMENT: Since a select Group of people have God’s Spirit, the very Essence of the dynamic powerful God of Creation …This Life Giving Power of God guides the select People to become “New Creations”. That is not “made-over”, but actually different Life. It is NEW. These New lives which are still on the earth and in this society actually example God’s Way of Life and do that OF God by His LIFE in them. Humanity may “see” the Works and “hear” the Words OF God through humans right now! They COULD contact God’s Life exampled on earth NOW.
SPS: The Tree of Life was in Eden, and there WILL be Trees of Life in the Kingdom. How about NOW? Could there be “Trees of Life”?

The FRUIT of God is IN select humans right NOW!
Genesis 2:9 (NKJV) 9 And out of the ground the LORD God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Humans act like they are God. It is IN us from the Creation …BUT …
Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NKJV) 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
When the Tree was created there was no need for repentance, until humans sinned and chose to imagine and act like God themselves. Once that happened, ACTUAL eternal Life became conditional upon repentance and conversion.
Genesis 3:22 (NKJV) 22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know [imagining] good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"-- (Could they see the Tree of Life but not get to it?)
There WILL be Trees of Life in the Kingdom:
Revelation 22:2 (NKJV) 2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
One Tree of Life in the Garden …MANY in the Kingdom OF ONE “Tree” System fed by LIFE …in the Kingdom (One “Tree” in the Garden, and many “Trees” in the Kingdom with God-Life Fruit)
Those who are OF God are likened to Trees “planted” and fed by God’s River of Life. They yield fruit.
Psalm 1:1-3 (NKJV) 1 Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. {$s and Cadillacs? – or grow something else?}
((((((Tree Analogy bearing Fruit) - Psalm 92:12-14 (NKJV) 12 The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,
Proverbs 11:30 (NKJV) 30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.
The “Fruit” or the Works and Words are OF God, (NOT of the select humans bearing the Fruit of the Spirit Life in the them).
(Christ Himself said that this was the Truth of His Life on earth …)
The Work of the Father is done OF and by the Spirit through Christ’s Words
John 14:10 (NKJV) 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.
The Spirit gives life …His Words are spirit and equated with Life –
John 6:63 (NKJV) 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.
We are Disciples or “Imitators” of Jesus Christ …
SO …“LIFE” OF God is IN some humans …who are OF God.
John 9:5 (NKJV) 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Are these “called out Ones” OF God & Jesus Christ - to example God-Life on earth today, where God shows His Way to humanity?
Matthew 5:14-16 (NKJV) 14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
HOW does God communicate with humanity NOW? WE are told to “bear much Fruit”

John 15:4-8 (NKJV) 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. 8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
((((John 14:11-14 (NKJV) 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
God has BEEN Planning AND doing this from the VERY Beginning of humanity’s limited time.
Genesis 1:26-28 (NKJV) 26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Did this actually work as intended? What has the history of mankind taught us? NO. The intent was to “multiply” God’s Way of Life or “God-Life”. To bear much Fruit OF God. And that is what Christ told His Church to do.
How does God communicate with the humanity of this age?
Matthew 28:18-20 (NKJV) 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen
CONCLUSION: WE are Trees of Life NOW. The Spirit Essence OF God our Father is example to the world of HIS Way of LIFE. We do this by His grace. We did not earn this place in His Plan. We ARE to KNOW and be responsible to “Bear Much Fruit”. WHY? For humanity to be shown God in humans just as Christ showed Our Father to the world THEN. He was the light of the world, now WE are.
The Called-out Ones OF God are the “Trees” where humanity may begin to obtain eternal Life.

The FRUIT of God is IN select humans right NOW!
The “Fruit” or the Works and Words are OF G O D,
WE are told to “bear much Fruit”
CLOSE: Zion is God’s Church from where God’s Spirit Family will come.
The select Ones - called out NOW to example God-LIFE in this Age - WILL be born in God’s likeness – starting NOW.
Psalm 87:1-6 (NKJV) 1 His foundation is in the holy mountains. 2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob. 3 Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God! Selah 4 "I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to those who know Me; Behold, O Philistia and Tyre, with Ethiopia: 'This one was born there.' " 5 And of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her; And the Most High Himself shall establish her." 6 The LORD will record, When He registers the peoples: "This one was born there."
