Though we are made in His image, there are some significant ways in which God is very different from us, and failing to remember these differences can cause us problems in our relationship with Him.

Brian Shaw has been a member of the Church of God since 1982. He was ordained an elder in the United Church of God in September, 2003 and was hired into the full-time ministry in September, 2009. Completing UCG Pastoral Training in March 2010, Mr. Shaw presently serves as the pastor of the UCG congregations in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Little Falls, and Duluth, Minnesota, as well as Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Mr. Shaw also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Sciences from the State University of New York at Oswego, and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
