Thank you Peggy. God's wisdom is amazing. He's taught me everything of any value.

Hi Linda, Thank you for your note. Yes, God worked with me to bring me to the truth before coming into the church. I looked very much like one of the brethren when I walked through the door. I had my bible and a notebook with me because that's how I studied. I had learned to check everything I heard against the scriptures. If it wasn't in the scriptures, I dismissed it. I came prepared to verify everything I heard at UCG. To my surprise, it was the only church that I had attended that adhered to the scriptures! Imagine that. I was so relieved I wasn't the only one left! Thank you for making me feel welcome. It's wonderful to be here.

Thank you Gene, I am so glad these comments are taken in the light that they were given. It's an amazing honor to have been called to join God's church. And, a bit scary too. I'm just finding my way and I make a lot of mistakes. I share my stumbling with my brothers and sisters here as I know they've been down this path before me. Even two years in, it's hard to remember the feeling that I had the first day that I stepped into the church. Already, things that were so very strange have become familiar now. I think it's easy to forget what it's like coming into the truth and just how very hard it is in the beginning for an outsider to hang on. The adversary works hard to discourage us. It takes a community to help the young ones understand what's happening to them. When I went through my first trial, I had no idea that's what is was! I was attacked from the outside for no reason. I thank my family here for helping me identify it as persecution. We need so much help in the beginning. Thank you for your comment and understanding.
