Brown County Pentecost Weekend

The popular UCG Pentecost Weekend in Brown County, Indiana holds a unique tradition—a cherished time for spiritual growth, fellowship and celebrating God’s Holy Day. The weekend includes something for everyone, blending moments of fun with opportunities to connect and share. Gather with friends and family at our various activities, like the potluck in the park. On Sabbath evening, experience the highlight of the weekend at the inspiring “Concert for God,” a powerful event where music and praise for God unite us in reverence and joy. This unforgettable weekend is designed to uplift and deepen your faith as we grow together.
Plans are now set! UCG discount rates for the Abe Martin Lodge and the Brown County state park cabins are available and open for reservations. This year we have the added convenience of a special UCG Pentecost weekend website that includes reservation information, schedules, sign-up capacity for the Concert for God, and more!
Register at pentecostbrown
county.ucgevents.org and sign up directly if you plan to take part in performing music and other volunteer roles during this special weekend. You can also sign up directly for the Holy Day luncheon, which helps support the low hall rental rate the Church receives. The website also includes information about the traditional Sabbath afternoon potluck and times for services.
Special note: to receive the low rates for accommodations, the Brown County staff asks that members call (877) 563–4371 and make reservations through a DNR reservation agent with the UCG group code (if you try to use the online booking option you may not be able to use the discount code 0530UG). Look for the “Book My Stay” section on the website for instructions. If you are using a cell phone, you can call directly from the Pentecost weekend website.
The site will be updated several times as we get closer to the weekend, so check back for updated schedules and opportunities. Many thanks to Nathan McClain for many hours of putting this new online tool together! Questions? Contact Jamie Snyder at (317) 709-3561 or email: bjsnyder@themekgroup.com.

Northwest Men's Weekend
The Tacoma and Olympia congregations are excited to invite men from around the northwest to the annual Northwest Men’s Weekend, returning to the beautiful Seabeck Conference Center in Seabeck, Washington from June 20–22, 2025!
This year, we are honored to welcome guest speaker Bob Dick, who will share a powerful message on “Being Reverent” and deliver the Sabbath sermon, which will be live-streamed for congregations whose pastors are attending.
Our new host, Ken Loucks, who became pastor for Tacoma and Olympia last August, will kick off the weekend with an engaging opening presentation. He will be joined by Daniel Porteous, Keith Tomes, David Jones and Roc Corbett—each offering insightful and interactive messages that bring Titus 2:1–2 to life.
The theme, “Being a Spiritual Leader,” will guide our discussions, helping us grow together as men of faith. With meaningful fellowship, thought-provoking sessions, and plenty of encouragement, this promises to be a weekend of renewal and inspiration.
We’d love for you to join us. Come and be a part of it! For more information or to register to attend, please contact Roc Corbett at roc_corbett@ucg.org.
Switzerland Adventure
UCG-Germany cordially invites young adults and families who love hiking to join our adventure in the beautiful Swiss Alps. Activities include hikes for various fitness levels, swimming in mountain lakes, visits to local towns and daily Bible studies.
Accommodation will be dormitory style and meals will be self-catering. The group house (massenlager.com) is located at an altitude of around 1,300 meters, and the address is: Mullern 5, 8753 Mollis (Glarus Nord).
Zurich is the nearest airport. The maximum occupancy for the group house is 35 people, so the “first come, first served” rule applies.
The costs for accommodation and food will be around 33 Swiss Francs (approximately $36 USD) per person per night. The costs for possible entrance fees (swimming pool, mountain cable elevator, etc.) are not included. Everyone covers these additional costs as needed.
Arrival is on Sunday July 13, 2025 and departure is on July 20. For more information and registration, please contact Erik Kasper at kasper.erik@gmail.com.
